If Rocky defeat both Sonny Liston & Floyd Patterson, how will you rank him?

here here, if Rock would have taken out both of them well that would be off the charts, however, what a silly think to imagine about, its like a double imagining, lol, first you have to picture Rocky beating them both and then try to imagine where that would place him, is the Op on acid? No offense, I want some, its a wild thing to consider. Old Rock was not the quickest, however, his timing was so good he could get around his slowness and when he did all of the sudden his opponents would be hammered right out of the blue just when they were getting confident they were too fast for Rocky. Never seen anything like it. He was crafty I think. I am guessing, I mean as far as his timing. I think as slow as he was he used being even slower as a decoy to help him time his opponents to counter them and man the Rock was great at that. The one problem with this being that he would often get hit before he would figure the timing of his opponent out. Thus having a great chin was as important as it always is. The Rock was a champ, undefeated at that, who knows what he was capable of if pushed farther than he was.

It all would have depended on how the rest of those men's careers played out. If he had beaten Floyd and Sonny, yet both faded into obscurity thereafter, then the wins wouldn't have meant much, except decent scalps over two good contenders..

Providing Liston is his retirement fight and Sonny went on to have the same great career. I would probably have Rocky top 5.

It all depends on how Patterson and Liston performed after Rocky beat them.

    Thanks for understanding Ken.

Others, I think the question is clearly assuming that Liston & Patterson had the same careers otherwise. Though I think even peak Marciano would have a similar disacantage with p[eak Liston as Foreman vs. Frazier.
