If Rocky Marciano is so overrated, why has nobody else done what he did?

    So just one more question before you leave...Are the white posters that also claim that Rocky didnt fight alot of good fighters racist as well, and it so how does that work???

    You claim that Johnson is the best boxer in heavyweight history. Prove your point. Put up the money for his to fight Vitali, or even Arreola now. Make that fight now.

    ok, one more. It's got not about calzaghe or Marciano, it's about the fact that you say these things about white fighters, and I mean always! Check your own post history. Listen you ignorant ****, I, like most, of the White fans on this site grew up watching black fighters, and am a fan of many of them and i couldn't give a **** about race, but to bigots like you race is all it's about. Don't try to deny it because your post history will bite you in the ass. Seriously, I find all this **** really depressing. **** you, I love this site. Now as I said, go and die!

    I dont have to prove anything to you about ME..Im I a racist?? NO but if you think so, I dont care. but you still didnt answer the question. Problem with guys like you are that you cant stand it when people dont agree with you. Its not racist to say that Calzaghe wasted his career fighting guys that arent up to his level. In fact its saying that Calzaghe is better then the fighters that he fought. Many of those being black fighters. Same with rocky. The difference is Rocky fought the best guys that were there from him to fight. And Joe didnt.

    Jersey Joe Walcott, Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore and Joe Louis - those guys even past their prime were great fighters. Past prime doesn't mean shot. Calzaghe's resume isn't even close. LaStarza, Cockell, Layne, Matthews were contenders, not bums. I'm not counting Lee Savold who for years was top 10 HW but with Marciano was way past his prime. Besides I think it's harder to go 49-0 in HW than any other division.

    I didnt say they were equal only the same. But for different reasons. Rocky fought the best fighter there were for him to fight, Joe didnt.

    PS are you in any way saying that Louis wasnt shot when he fought Rocky???

    He was past his prime but I wouldnt say that completly shot. 12 Months before Marciano fight Louis beat

    Cesar Brion x 2
    Freddie Beshore
    Omelio Agramonte
    Lee Savold
    Jimmy Bivins

    Thats pretty solid

    Marciano was entering his prime fighting Louis, no wonder why the fight was so one sided. But we cant forget that even past his best, Joe Louis was great puncher and dangerous opponent.
