Let's say hypothetically speaking, Calzaghe beats Hopkins on April 12, and then Roy travels to Wales and defeats Calzaghe in a shocker. He then faces Johnson and beats him to having defeated every man he's faced... What would all of that do to Roy's legacy?
After defeat Glen Johnson, go back and knock out Tarver then rematch with him and knock out him once again! Gzzzzzz!
Hypothetically? Jones would move into the top 15 fighters on nearly everyone's list. He is on some people's now. Not mine.
Alright, so hypothetically, if Reggie Strickland comes back, beats Wlad by KO in the 1st and every other title holder from 168 to HW, what does it do for his legacy? Seriously, can we stop all these BS hypothetical threads? THEY'RE NOT GONNA HAPPEN! So what does it matter? Honestly?
If Calzaghe beats Hopkins, Pavlik, Dawson, Erdei, Woods and Haye, then retires undefeated with no controversy.... Is CHJ the best boxing analyst ever?:yep
Agreed. The Manny Pac ones are probably the worst though IMO. If Pac beat JMM, Juan Diaz, Valero, Guzman, Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto and Oscar De La Hoya where would he rank as an ATG? The sad part is some Pac fans believe this to be a serious possibility.
