If Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather.....

Floyd would have to deal with somebody who could hit him and not hit him back, who had faster hands, better reflex's and more power. Who was mentally soild and could switch hit. Roy would win nearly every round. Because you cannot outbox Roy Jones Jr if you are the same size with slower hands, and there is no other way that Floyd would win.

Didn't work too well for Toney against Roy.

 

If Mayweather could get to Roy, I see him winning. His power is better than Roy's chin.

If it was a chess match though, I would hate to predict.

 

Roy would destroy Floyd in exchanges. It would more likely be Floyd fighting off the backfoot with Roy stalking him.

 

Nobody knows whether Floyd has a good chin or not - that just proves how good his defence is.

He would have no idea what was coming, would not be able to see it because it was so fast and would not be able to do jack **** about it.

 

Floyd is not in Roy's league (or in someone like Duran's either IMO).. Roy would win a wide decision, most likely dropping Floyd at least once. No styles advantage for Floyd and Roy wouldn't need to fear Floyd's power, which I think is slightly overrated at 130, probably because of the Corrales fight.

Roy would win, he is far faster, more powerful and just as accurate, the floyd of 130 would give him problems no doubt but can't see past roy
