I don't know why you would say that. His chin held up just fine until he got old and he got caught right spang on the button by Tarver.

I like PBF, but it's pretty clear, at least to me, that he's not Roy's equal p4p. A prime Roy is like a prime Ali, damn near impossible to hit even with his hands at his waist, with the added bonus that he could take you out with one shot.

Castillo did good work against him. Corley hurt him badly. PBF really only faced two sure-fire HOF'ers in their prime in Castillo and Corrales, and you could easily make the argument that Diego had too much going on outside the ring to give it his best effort. PBF is one hell of a fighter, and I would even make him a slight favorite over Cotto even though Floyd imho should be at 140. That doesn't change the fact that PBF is talking mad crazy **** saying he's better than SRL or Ali, because he's definitely not, and imho he's not on RJJ's level prime for prime either. A fighter with insane power a la Aaron Pryor, Chavez or Duran I think would just blast Floyd out of there because in the end, PBF at 140 and 147 is all about defense and that only takes you so far, especially when your style is to stand in one spot and deflect and roll off punches instead of being on your toes getting out of the way. Sweet Pea was every bit as good as PBF when it comes to that, anyway.

An active, aggressive fighter with good power and great speed can get to Floyd and hurt him.

    Ruiz? :rofl

Ruiz had not had a KO since 1998 coming into the Jones fight. Ruiz is now a power puncher? :patsch

Ruiz was nothing more than ANOTHER handpicked Roy Jones opponent.

No one said he's a power puncher but he's still a heavyweight and if you truly understand the concept of moving up in weight..a guy nearly 30 pounds more than you can seriously bang you up pretty good, especially when you started fighting at 160....

No one is saying RJJ has a pound for pound top chin but it ain't as bad as many are saying...

And PBF has handpicked his opponents ever since he started at 140, have good night pal !! ;)

  That was good. Interesting match. Most likely ending in a UD for RJJ. Just a freak of nature that even FMJ couldn't handle.

Apparently Floyd is smarter, he made better decisions in his career. He can literally box in a phone booth and not get hit, so his defense is better cause Roy's defense was really all about his foot work to get out of the way. How can you be sur that Roy is faster and haas better reflexes than PBF, when they both display perfection in both assets. And trust me, Floyd is as athletic as it gets. So like I said, you'll never know who beats who, but I pick Floyd.

Well if they seem equal in most areas as you believe...then shouldn't RJJ's power eventually prevail at some point then ?
