Calzaghe would make Jones go into a shell for most of the round. Jones' fading reflexes and stamina spell trouble against a swarmer like Calzaghe. Prime for prime, he busts Calzaghe up real good.

Why do people keep saying Joe is shot when all his career defining fights and bigest ever wins have been in the last 2 years. Its starting to **** me off. He looks shot because his opponents are at last semi decent and Bernard a cut above (even at 43) exposed him!

If Joe boxed Manfredo again tomorrow he would once again look unstoppable!

Roy Jones never used to give people rematches, everyone was very suprised he gave Tarver the rematch.

It's more likely he wants two fights so if he loses the first he has another shot at it.

He also got stopped by two LHW's, and has fought his last three fights against two nobodies and a blown up welterweight.
Roy in his prime was awesome, but he's passed it now.

Why would Calzaghe the CHAMP give RJJ a rematch if RJJ has no belts?...Would be pointless

I don't see two fights happening either way.

IF this version of RJJ can beat a top 5 P4P fighter like Joe Calzaghe then the way I see it, he's in the top 10 all time.

No excuses for Roys defeats, every great fighter has lost and any fighter can be KO'ed but to say he is past it now is insane(he had a few set backs and had to get physcially & mentally back on track....i am sure you are someone who thinks B Hop has looked magnificant & impressive in his last 5 fights?

RJJ didnt lose until he was 35 and they were all within 2 years of each other & now he is on a 3 fight win streak (granted it hasnt been against p4p fighters but they werent Bums)...if your gonna tell me after watching RJJ since the 3rd Tarver fight up until the Tito fight that Roy Jones is shot then man you know crap about Fighting at a world class level

I don't mind Joe and accept he won, but he didnt expose anything baring what many believed he already was(overrated). He came away with credibility just about intact; against a 43 year old as well.

Fair play to Joe for winning, but it didn't prove him elite, far from it.

Jones has way too much for Joe Calzaghe.
Calzaghe's slaps and lack of power will not earn any respect from Jones.
Calzaghe's straight forward style may get him knocked out.

Well the nobodys Jones beat (Prince Badi Ajamu & Anthony Hanshaw) would likely beat quite a few of Calzaghe's opponents (except Kessler) possibly more impressively than Calzaghe did !

Jones will be more of a threat than B-hop and has one punch KO power. Jones floored Trinidad twice and Hanshaw. Unfortunately if he does not catch Calzaghe and KO him he will most likely be outworked as he does not have the same stamina and fights in spurts nowadays.
