the thing is this, people dont analyse the fighter they analyse the record. I posted that direll wont get caught with the punches and outbox AA buh then people talked like AA beat taylor and forgot the fact he was outboxed for the first 3-4 rounds easily. like jones sed, the people he beat wern't nobodyz, he made them look like nobodyz
There are very good Jones wins, that hardly get mentioned on his resume. I have read posts that say Jones was knocked out by Tarver and Johnson because it was a step up in competition, and not because Roy declined. They fail to realize that Jones dominated fighters like Harding, who went 1-1 with Tarver and Woods who was 1-1-1 with Johnson, and consistently dominated good fighters his whole career in a fashion that his competitors could come no where close.
Roy Jones might have been the greatest H2H fighter ever. Honestly there are maybe 2 guys in the history of the sport that fought from middle to lightheavy that you'd take in boxing match with Roy. Roy cleaned up fighters like Abraham while sleeping
