i hope jones knocks calzaghe on his ass but i just can't see it happening. if he does win it would be nice to see hopkins jones II (simply because i dont really want to see either of them fight anymore and once they have a rematch they can both hang them up).

 

im pretty gutted calzaghe has taken this fight for his farewell because in all honesty Jones hasnt beaten any one world class since 2003! he just has absolutely no hope! people talk of jones like hes gonna be the same fighter he was ten years ago when he gets in with joe, just coz hopkins did it! hes still been putting a beating on the likes of wright and tarver while jones has bin doin nothing, seriously people are living in the past if they think Jones can even go 12 rounds with joe calzaghe

Your right he wont be the same fighter he was 10 years ago but he will be better on Nov 8..he will not give joes power any respect and will end up with a ud 115-113 across the board...Joe is not an atg either....he is a good european fighter and that is all...he hasnt accomplished what bhop and rjj have

 

If Roy wins and he fights Hopkins there is no doubt in my mind that Hopkins will knock him out. That being said I don't think Roy would take the fight anyway.

Yes we will. Hopkins already said that he wants the winner of Jones/Calzaghe. Now that would be a mega event if Jones wins, Calzaghe already said he's retiring after it so either Jones wins or Hopkins will most likely target someone else or retire.

 

jones will most likely knock joe out. joe doesnt hit hard enough nor have enough speed.

 

even with jones' speed decrease he still has enough movement to keep joe away. calzaghe will stay busy but it wont be anything clean. jones will pick him apart with his speed and hurt or even ko joe.

personally im lookin forward to hopkins vs jones 2! hopkins needs this win to walk away.

an i see tarver with a lot more pop than calzaghe. plus tarver is bigger than roy. joe however is not.

 

Calzaghe is faster than Glen Johnson and has a higher KO ratio. Speed and power mean little if you no longer have the reflexes and overall co-ordination to utilise them. Calzaghes chin as been proven time and again and if RJJ can't KO an over the Hill Tito or Hanshaw who was KO'ed in 5 in his next fight, how on earth is he going to drop Calzaghe let alone KO him. Stop living in the past, Jones is done.

 

lol personally i dislike jones. have his whole career. but honestly if u think calzaghe has an honest chance of beatin roy without ANY problems your in denial.
