tarver and jones are about the same place in their careers and i was wondering if they could attract a audiance to get one last possible huge pay day.

i actually think that i would be a interesting fight, but i know this fight is far from each of their primes and neither are really in the lime light anymore.

Hell, I didn't even bother with their two rematches. The idea of those two is boring, boring, boring.

Yeah I would Jones could probably take him now & it would go some way towards erasing the previous losses.

I think Jones will get by Lacy. But a fight with Tarver I would not want to see. Tarver is diminished now. Jones could beat him now. Jones is handpicking just like he did in his prime.

the question is would a US TV network be interested in that fight? If so, I would probably watch. Jones could have won the 3rd fight but it was clear he just did not care and wanted to survive the 12 rounds.

I think he did care but couldn't do anything about it because mentally his inner confidence has been affected permanently from his back to back KO losses.
