***** DO NOT ANSWER BEFORE READING A LIST OF JONES'S ACHIEVEMENTS*****

    - Winner of 9 major world titles including The Ring lhw title

    - World champion at 4 weights

    - First man in over a century to win world titles at mw and hw

    - The Ring Fighter of the Year 1994

    - World pound-for-pound number 1 intermittently between 1994 and 2003

    - A top 8 best wins of: TONEY, HOPKINS, RUIZ at hw, HILL, TARVER, GRIFFIN II, McCALLUM, MALINGA

    - Would've reached 50-0 if it wasn't for a DQ in a fight he was close to winning

    - Widely acknowledged to be one of the best fighters ever h2h. The vast majority of his performances for a decade 1993-2003 between 160 and 175lbs were electrifying in terms of quality and skill

If he was Welsh, would he get more credit, less, or the exact same??

    :bbb

Bull**** threads about Joe Calzaghe, saying that if he was American he would be thought of as superior to Jones and Hopkins, and a top 10 ATG, etc etc :dead

    Bollocks.

roy jones never once ventured outside wales in love with homecooking and he is just another irrelevent eurobum.

he should have come to the USA and fought calzaghe and ottke.

Same with Lennox, I could care less where he's from, we just can't deny his accomplishments.

Then he would have ducked all the big challenges like Calslappy and would have refused to fight in America until all the american legends got washed up.

Haters would question why a man of that undoubted quality could fight in and around the same weights as Nunn,Jackson,McClellan,Benn,Eubank,Collins,DM,Calzaghe(Prime),Hopkins(Prime) and Ottke and not face them.

The more bitter haters would throw in Vitali,Wlad,Lennox,Dawson,Pavlik,Taylor,Froch,Bute and Kessler just because they happen to have been active while he was around.

The more moronic would say Tyson.

And the more twisted(Lieberman and Co) would say Watson.

They would call him a drug cheat and a stay at home glass jawed cherry picker who refused to give Hopkins a rematch when Hop was in his Prime.

If people wanna hate, they will hate.

Even though Hopkins and Toney are generally accepted to be stronger as a pair of wins than Calzaghe and Ottke would have been? I know you're semi-serious, but wrong all the same.
