Erm, you're kinda missing the point there Juju. That's all things they can say now. The issue is nationality. If he were Welsh, would he get more or less credit than he does now, or the same amount because it is the achievements themselves that are important and not where he was born??
dat euro jones was too scared to fight doze brothas in day prime he knew he woulda got lit up. real talk
I got the point mate, I read the other thread. Changing his birth certificate after he has achieved all that wouldnt change a thing, no.
I wish i hadnt said owt. I just meant folk have a tendancy to focus on what people didnt do rather than what they did and no matter where they were born that would happen.
Co-sign. The world p4p#1 is a Filippino. Number 2 is Mexican. There is currently only 1 American in the top 10 (Paul Williams was recently dropped and replaced by Celestino Caballero of Panama) Sam Langford and Roberto Duran are in almost every p4p top 10 you could ever find. Monzon, Arguello, Jofre, Wilde etc etc, also usually receive high placings. At world title level (esp nowadays) the same opposition is available for everyone, more or less. Greatness trascends nationality. Boxing is global.
haha this thread is abso halarious, roy jones if he was walsh and not afro american would be a boxing legend,,, like one of those myths or something lol
What if Roy Jones was Welsh and Michalczewski was American, and Jones still achieved everything in the list that is the thread-starter??? Same answer. Though Roy could've fought Michalczewski was Dariusz was over 40, and became a legend killer I suppose.
