    Roy,

I have followed your whole career and i have always been a fan of your ablities and your person as you always seemed to be a genuinely nice person .I cant say that i liked your music though haha.In all seriousness you should hang up your gloves and move into some other aspect of the sport such as promoting or broadcasting ( which i think you are very good at).I feel that you are at risk of becoming what you were always afraid of becoming the most and that is Gerald McClellan.Dont be like your friend instead learn from your friend, dont allow yourself to become permanantly injured.Enjoy your life with your kids and family and be proud of what you have accomplished as your legacy is in place and you can walk away with your faculties still in tact.I hope you make the right decision and i wish you all the luck in the world!!

Im not sure if he will ever read this or he comes on here but i am sincere and i hope he does retire, and retire for good!!!

When I saw the title, I thought it was a Rico post. Glad it wasn't.

    Dear Roy,

I agree with Ted Stickles, and believe you should retire too. Prior to your destructive loss to Tarver, I admired you so much, and was in awe of your astonishing boxing ability and reputation. Up until that point, I believe you had done more than enough to seal your legacy, and retire in peace.

However since then, you've decided to box on and inadvertently harm your legacy by continuing be knocked out by lesser fighters. There is nothing sadder in boxing than to watch this. So please Roy, retire, and go back to commentating on HBO.

I think Roy wants to get knocked out once more, before he calls it quits.

We have been saying that for a long time, people didn't want to hear it. Idiots thought that he was prime material after he beat Lacy and thought he should continue forever and ever. Of course we all know who those idiots are, Calzaghe fans and again I'll say no one should blame them, 40 year old Roy Jones past his prime for nearly 6 years is the biggest name on his record.

I hope not. I would rather see him as a commentator rather than fighting ever again.

    Dear Roy,

You have no Chin. None. You have one of the most fragile Glass Jaws in the sport today and always have. You handpicked 98% of your fights against school teachers, police officers, bartenders, and just about every other type of civil servant there is. Your whole career was smoke and mirrors. Most of your fights in the 1990's were against handpicked optional fights or worthless mandatorys that nobody cared about yet you still tried to tell everyone you were the best fighter in the World while your colleagues were fighting better competition than you were. You NEVER beat a Unified, Linear, or Undisputed champion in your whole cazreer. You are a Glass Jawed fraud and if you refuse retire keep fighting because it never gets old watching you get embarrassingly KOed by mediocre fighters. Keep up the good work.

first post since some arsehole 2 week Banned me for no reason.

If Roy Jones had retired after Ruiz he would have probably been seen as a top 5 ATG. Hagler and Lewis were not neccessarily better but retired at the right time and now well above Roy.
Have one more against a feather fisted fighter and call it quits

You probably didn't hear. Rico can be hit with an anvil right on the cyber chin and he can't be cyber knocked out. He's also defeated all the linear champions of every division with his keyboard. He's the greatest keyboard warrior of all times! In real life though I think he's just the offspring of two siblings.

  15. :rofl:rofl The linear keyboard champion of the world...
