Denis still won regardless IMO. Roy went like 4 rounds almost without throwing a punch, I think he was totally worn out. He came back to life in the 9th, but soon after ole bobble head presented itself.

Yeah, Lebedev would have won anyway.

Leb would have won a SD on the cards or a MD if he won round 10. I also think there would have been controversy favorable to Roy. Honestly though, he doesn't need the sympathy.

roy is my favorite fighter ever but you could make a case for lebedev winning every round. jones probably won the 1st and 9th. i don't understand how any judge could have had jones winning. pitiful.

That knockout was the best thing to happen to him. Maybe he'll friggin retire now.

You can make a case the referee should count Lebedev as well since he used his glove to hold on the ropes (a bit like Holyfield-Cooper) at one time, but even with this I would score the fight for Lebedev.

This is not a serious question if you've watched the fight. Roy put on a nice effort and deserved to see the cards, but that's about it. Lebedev was mostly in control.

He won't. Roys ego is too big. He's going to get hurt. Ironic as what happened to McCellan hit Roy hard. But he still doesn't seem to want to face his own mortality and seems intent on fighting on despite getting hurt badly in succesion since his KO loss to Tarver.

Roy aint goin nowhere. i think he made 400 K for this fight. Thats good money for a nontitle meaningless fight

his dumbass corner isnt going to be pressuring him either

At this point i see Roy touring the world. Some European country will front the money to hold a bout against Roy and that country's B-class fighter all in the name of nationalism

    sad but true!

It was odd to me how ole Roy was all smiles when he woke from his coma.

This, a thousand times. Roy's approach to fighting seemed to change after McCellan's injruy, and he took all precautions to avoid the same fate (for both himself and his opponents). Now he seems hell-bent on having the same fate.
