If roy pulls of the impossible and beats bhop

I think people are massively underestimating Jones in this fight. I also think he has more then a legit shot at winning.

Jones was making Green look like a fool (granted not even for 1 round ) until the fatal punch landed. Hopkins is not a big puncher. He hasn't knocked out anyone in years. Hopkins also isn't a pressure fighter or a volume puncher.

I think it will be a tactical fight between two counter punchers who will look at each other, faint and do a great deal of show boating.

I'm actually a big fan of Hopkins. I don't care much for Jones.

So I hope Hopkins wins. But I won't be surprised one but if Jones does.

I think Jones has a chance, what I do not agree with is that Jones would go up in ATG ranking more for beating a 45 year old guy. Bernard is 45. People always use the excuse that Duran was so old when he fought Hearns,Leonard and Hagler and Benitez. He was 29 when he fought Ray, 30 Benitez, and 32 when he fought Hearns and Hagler. Hopkins is 13 years older than Duran when Roberto fought Hagler and Hearns. As a matter of fact he is near the age when Duran challenged Joppy.

 

Roy boxes and runs for the first half of the fight. The latter half is all Hopkins - KO in rounds 9 or 10.
