The question is actually the opposite: what will Haye do to win the fight. Wlad can easily outpoint him with a jab alone. Haye will be forced to do something to win the fight at some point but there is not much he can do. Haye is no Sanders. Sanders was a brawler with fast hands and good chin who could overwhelm opponents. Wlad is also not the same Wlad who lost to Sanders.

You got that right....that's what they believe anyway. :-(

The excuses are "Haye didn't train", "Ruiz doesn't fight like Wlad", "Haye does better against bigger fighters" etc...

Truth is, none of those excuses hold water, because Wladimir is so far ahead of Ruiz in terms of talent.

And "Haye does better against bigger fighters". Are they referring to Haye's marathon that rivaled the best Kenyan runners against Valuev, or his amazing performance against Audley "I threw one jab" Harrison?

Man theres no hope with you.

Fact of the matter is Haye does a hell of alot better against taller, stiffer fighters, as opposed to small compact pressure fighters. Always has done.

Your in for a big shock when that bell goes and the realisation sinks in that Wlad cant land his jab. Wlads will hit panic mode.

David seemed to get hit quite easily there, i remember something Tyson said when the British media pundits tried selling him to Iron Mike. Something on the lines of " Ruiz is a Don king fighter who is semi retired. Haye don't bob and weave, he's easy to hit. He should be a lot more elusive for a smaller guy. lol...

    Like Valuev and Audley?

Haye has only fought a few fighters the same height, or taller than himself, and none near the level of Wlad.
Most of Haye's opponents were shorter than him, and many under 6 feet.

Those who were close to the same height or taller include:
    Garry Delaney (6′ 3″, with a record of 31-13)
Oleksandr Hurov (6' 5", only fought two fighters of note, Jean Marc Mormeck being the other, who also KO'd him)
Enzo Maccarinelli (listed at 6' 4", but only a 74" reach, 7 inches shorter than Wlad)
    Valuev
    Harrison

That's the complete list right there, I don't think I'm missing any.....
    So saying something like:

"Fact of the matter is Haye does a hell of alot better against taller, stiffer fighters, as opposed to small compact pressure fighters. Always has done."

That just doesn't make sense to me...

The most likely outcome will be Haye eating Wlad's jabs for the entire 12 rounds and lose by a wide UD. If he gets tired running (and he might), Wlad will finish him late. That's all there is to it, in retrospect Haye will look no better than other Wlad's victims.

agreed. And I don't think Haye is a bad fighter, he's not. He's quite good, just not as good as he thinks he is. :D

Youve just proved my point basically and then end up saying it doesnt make sense to you :patsch

Compare those fights to his 3 fights against small compact pressure fighters in Mormeck, Fragomeni and Ruiz. He gets tagged in those fights way more than he does against tall non pressure fighters.

He blew Delaney, Gurov, Maccarenli, Harrison away in a total of 9 rounds between them and hardly got touched in the Valeuv fight.

    Ya get it?

It doesn't make sense to compare Haye's fights against tall bums, to those against shorter, but more talented fighters.

He got tagged in those other fights more simply because the competition was better, not because of how tall the fighters were.

Wlad has never been counted out in a fight..never laid out like Lewis against Rahman for example.

As for why they never fought Ruiz....I don't know, maybe it's because of King? Who knows.

Ruiz, he just seemed tailor made for a big KO. Ruiz did a lot of things good, but nothing extremely well. He's not extremely fast, or powerful, or big enough, not
enough reach, etc.... the list goes on. He just seems so "average joe" to me....even though he kept winning.

Always seemed like a KO win for either brother.

Ruiz is average of course I know that but he is solid

Hatton wasnt counted out against Pacman:rofl

Frazier against Foreman but its a KO and it was stopped for their health

If the ref let didnt stop the Sanders figth what do you think would have happened ?
