Come on now, you know what I am referring to. Hatton laid there and didn't get up, that's never happened to Wlad, he always got up.

Wlad will land his jab pretty much at will, make no mistake about that. After 2-3 rounds Haye will give up trying to evade it because he doesn't have the stamina to do so.

The question is if Haye can remain dangerous long enough with a couple of good counters until both of his eyes are all swollen up. If I was Haye I'd go out gunz blazing, trying to force an early win or at the very least try to make Wlad a bit more cautious. Just watching the Harrison fight makes me doubt he is capable of that. Usually relying on counters Haye seemed completely puzzled and clueless on how to attack the bigger man.

Good job your not Haye then :D

He waits for opportunities to counter and obviously in the Harrison fight Harrison just went into a shell but as soon as he threw a jab in round 3 Haye moved his head to the side and countered with a big right hand and that signalled the end.

It will be easier to counter Wlad because he's constantly jabbing or pawing with it.

Knock him the f&*k out, that is what he will do. Haye's ass can't cash the checks his mouth has written

Who knows? Considering Wlad kept getting up, perhaps he would have adjusted at the end of the round. Or perhaps Sanders would have kept putting him down? We'll never know.

It's a hypothetical.....whatever the case may be, the Wlad of today is many levels above the Wlad of 7+ years, and 17 fights ago...that's for sure, and that's really all that matters.

It will be easy for Haye to counter Wlad? :huh

Now granted, Harrison didn't throw much of anything, and your opponent has to throw for you to counter. But come on, Harrison is nowhere near Wlad in terms of talent. Wlad could probably beat Harrison with 1-hand, as he did Ray Austin.

I can't see Haye eating Wlad's jab for 12 rounds. Once it gets to around the midway stage and Wlad starts landing his straight right through the middle Haye will be completely lost at sea. He hasn't (nor will he) fight a technically better heavyweight than Wlad.

First I thought the same thing. But watch how Wlad paws the jab out. He doesnt shoot the jab from the beltline (like Vitali does). Wlad keeps the left close to his chin, and when he sticks the jab out he keeps his elbow out and the arm extended.

Haye will find it difficult to punch an overhand right through that. Time and time again he will find his own punches blocked by Wlad's elbox, arm or glove right by the chin. And if he's not punching the jab then he's waving it right in his opponents face trying to limit his field of vision.

Sanders just relied on his hand speed and didn't bother waiting for the jab or countering Wlad at all. He just punched right through the middle when Wlad didn't see a single thing coming; then again he was a southpaw. Maybe overall that's Haye's best bet -- go all out early on, right through the center without preparing and waiting too much and praying for an early ambush-type win.

Faye does not have 1/2 of Sanders power or even 1/8 of Sanders chin. Faye is not even in Sanders class at heavy, he needs some real wins that matter before he can even be mentioned in the same breath as Sanders.

Good Lord what a horrible thread with some ******ed logic to boot. They are totally different fighters, with different statures and styles for a start. I suppose I could just say that if Williamson can deck WALDO then imagine what Haye will do. Or better yet, if the likes of Sanders and Ross the Boss can beat WALDO then Haye will just walk through him.

Golota's jab (before getting into a car wreck) topped Wlad's jab. Not sure if you've seen.

and of course Ruiz is going to land numerous punches on haye, that fight was one sided but Ruiz would always be a hard fighter just based on how negative and tough he is.
