I apologize guys. I didn’t realize it was Parker vs Ruiz Jr. that fought for the Vacant WBO. Every punch Parker landed even some missing and occasionally hitting Ruiz Jr.’s high guard the crowd would cheer...

Crowd and judges an influence for Parker...plus Whyte vs Parker... wasn’t impressed with Parker. I think Usyk comfortably beats Parker...

Therefore Ruiz Jr. is a legit challenger and will hopefully give us a good show!

All 3 judges and the ref were appointed by the WBO, not the local commission.
Tony Weeks is an American(as is Ruiz).
The judges were from Argentina, Germany and The Philippines.

If you think the crowd was the deciding factor that night... then I don't really know what to tell you.
Fight could have easily gone to Ruiz. Just one of those close fights.

It was a very close fight, could of gone either way so yeah Ruiz could of gotten the nod had it been in the US.

Everyones learning curve is different but being still at 22 fights isn't a lot of fights .Theres a major jump going from about 24 to 30 /plus fights in how the development goes bc most are over a learning curve by fight 30.

Parker was still in early development stages at 22 fights 88 rounds.

Ruiz had 30 fights and 117 rounds .

Parker hadn't been past 8 rounds prior to Ruiz. Its very difficult in championship fights if its a hard fight to maintain a stready pace its like fighting two fights without that experience ,see the Joshua vs Klitschko fight. ( AJ was never past 7 rounds and having to recover from a knock down, that's a double whammy ) and he still won.

Parker also boxed very well against Whyte but Whyte is a very underrated boxer ,rugged fighter.

However Usyk does against anyone is irrelevant in this weeks fights bc Ruiz is the one fighting ,this doesn't make Ruiz not formidable but we may not see that if Joshua comes for a demolishing job.

Its speculation who will have the actual better career Ruiz or Parker ( I had Ruiz winning ) bc its not 2016 and Parker is the better suited to age better here giving the body types.

I had it 7-5 Parker so Ruiz could have conceivably won given favourable judges to swing a few rounds.
