If Russell Jr. never faced Lomachenko, he'd be on the P4P list today

Really turning out to be wasting his prime years, which is a damn shame.

Its not really as pointless as you think. GRJ has a world title now and has improved since, that it would probably be more competitive. Its certainly not as pointless as lets say, Wilder-Stiverne, linares-crolla, Stevenson-fonfara etc.

If Russell Jr hadn't fought Lomachenko all his fanboys would be telling you how he'd school Lomachenko like Rigondeaux fanboys was.

joshua-whyte, should it happen is another pointless fight. stevenson-fonfara 2 would have been fine, had stevenson not waited until fonfara was utterly destroyed to make the rematch.

GRJ does not have a better resume than Spence or Crawford, unless you think highly of his win against an old Jhonny Gonzalez. Crawford won and defended a title at 135 and unified 140. Meanwhile Spence turned pro nearly 4 years after GRJ, has become somewhat of a boogeyman AND beat Brook, albeit after his loss to GGG.

I’d love to hear your rationale about these fighters’ respective resume.

Loma has no reason to fight GRJ again. It’s a no-win proposition for Loma as his detractors will deny him credit for repeating the feat.

Why doesn’t GRJ (Washington D.C.) ask Master Al to see if Floyd will let him fight Gervonta Davis (Baltimore) in a unification at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, MD? Don’t tell me it’s because Gervonta’s only 22 years old. The way I see it, if Gervonta and Floyd feel he lacks the experience to pursue unification fights, he probably doesn’t have any business holding a belt. Besides, wouldn’t it be nice for either one of these guys to gain a regional following?

Nobody has EVER praised no ****ing Gary Russell Jr., you just want him to be praised so you can boost Lomachenko up. You can't find a video, post, or thread of anyone praising him before or after Lomachenko.

I think Loma has gotten better too, mind. I think Loma wins clearer so it's not a fight I'm pushing to see, but I wouldn't exactly groan if it was announced.

Yes, Lomachenko has gotten better as well, it was no contest against Russell at 126, and it will be even worse at 130 for Russell................
