if sam soliman fights and beats Peter Manfredo jnr for the IBO title he should stay here in oz and follow the Green formula of fighting has beens that can be hyped into some big main event action. anyone got any suggestions of 160 pound has beens for sam to fight. given the Green formula they could be 147 pound has beens

    maybe a winky rematch?

I think Sam is above that and his proved it by taking hard fights overseas on short notice.

yeah but he's sitting back looking at all the dough that choc and green have and he's thinking what about me? if he gets the title he will definitely try and maximise some earnings. he certainly isnt going to fight some young on the way up gun, that isnt worth a zac at the gate. these fights he has now, like the one against piper and now singh pay chicken feed in the big picture. considering that they're not televised the promoters barry michael and his partner look after sam but that means he gets about 40k for the piper fight last year and probably around 30k for this one. if he's got an ibo title then fox's main event would be interested and he'll earn some real cheddar. i think maybe winky as he can never get a fight and would get some profile down here given its a rematch especially

Sam fought tough fights OS on short notice because he was the challenger and was getting a payday and a shot at a title, if he gets a title you will see him make maximum $$$$ out of it before a big carrer ending fight Sam is a great guy but has a family to think about and 3 or 4 big money fights defending the IBO crown would set him and his family up for life
