Surely the 6'6 Russian man with a shovel for a face who trains his body conditioning with sledgehammers and has 100% KO ratio can't lose to some unknown Kabayel right?
Only if the 2A were properly enforced. I constantly feel my rights being infringed due to lack of access to a tacnuke.
All of that may be true, but not only does logic tell me that Sanchez should be ranked 3rd in terms of resume, but ranked second in terms of skills, behind Kabayel. While he might not fail the eye test, he can only muster a C+ in my book. He's been vastly overrated by many on this forum, that are overawed by slickness. Whereas certain fighters, who trend more towards the aggressive side, are constantly underrated. Everyone Sanchez has shared the ring with has flattered him greatly, because they're all no frills by the numbers plodders. He's never shared the ring with anyone even remotely capable of matching his skillset. Now that's not necessarily some glowing endorsement of Sanchez, merely that Heavyweight has never been the most skilled division, while this current lineup at HW in particular, is pretty ****ing dire. But Kabayel brings the same skillset to the table that Lemos did against Hitchins, just like I predicted he would. There's always fighters who have an antidote for slickness, especially when said slickness has been grossly inflated. Let's just hope there aren't dodgy scorecards like in that one, because Agit takes that option off the table.
Yeah, I'm surprised by how many people think Euro level and pretty basic Kabayel who is a smidge more talented than the likes of Wallin will beat Sanchez. It's not a 50/50 whatsoever, as Sanchez on his night gives every heavyweight in the world some form of issue, and he's very good. 117-111 Sanchez if the corner is ok with Kabayel getting a bit of a sustained pasting.
