I think Shane will knock him out.

Alvarez is not that good, and if you watch the Cintron fight; he was even wobbled by Kermit, who himself was very gunshy.

I think Shane is close to the end of the road, don't get me wrong; but Alvarez is very easy to hit, and Shane has built his career off of picking up Mexican scalps. Basically I haven't bought into the Alvarez hype, and pick Shane to have one last performance.

I know I seem crazy :nut But it's a gut feeling and I'm going for it. Putting my neck on the line, along with my solid reputation for predicting fights. (V-Cash is on Chavez Jr, all 132 of it.)

There are some questions about Alvarez's chin that are yet to be answered but I just can't see this version of Mosley asking them questions, he can't pull the trigger to save his life anymore.

its would be sad to see shane mosley reduced to a fighter acting as a stepping stone to golden boys up and coming young fighters.
alvarez is not yet the finished article, but he's massive at the weight, young, strong and capable of handing an old and past his best mosley, a beating, which is not gonna be nice to see happen to shane.

Dude, Shane Mosley arguably lost to Sergio Mora.

It's not the same Shane anymore, he's been through all pages of boxing, coming up a lightweight beast, making big money at welterweight with ODLH, getting embarrassed by Winkster, being "shot", coming back to score a vicious T/KO over the welterweight beast in Margarito, then losing to the two best P4P.

There is nothing there for him anymore but the quick bucks.

No you won't, Alvarez is a very talented fighter in his prime, if Mosley hurts him Alverez will punch to the body and Mosley will slow while Alvarez can turn up the heat on him. Not to mention Cintron is 1 of the biggest punchers around anyway

A rookie will typically get buzzed along their way to the top. Cotto was nearly knocked out by Torres, on ***** street against Corley, hurt early against Judah. So does that mean a 35yo Mosley would KO him? No it didn't and Alvarez is similar but probably doesn't make the same mistakes

If anything I'd favour Alvarez to be the first to stop Mosley, he's naturally bigger and can hurt Shane to the head and body. Shane is 40 and done

He was young then, he's improved since

At this stage of Shane's career fighting Alvarez may be a better fight for him than Mora was. Alvarez is there to be hit. Mora (the Latin snake) could be a real pain in the arse to hit. What Golden Boy were thinking I'll never know, Sergio Mora is very difficult to look good against.

And Shane wouldn't rematch him and prove it was an off night like Vernon Forrest did, I'm gonna quote Vernon Forrest regarding my belief on what Shane Mosley should do:

"If I can't whip this guy (Sergio Mora), I better retire"

Sergio Mora just isn't that good, and Shane looked awful against him, not only like an off night, but really.. AWFUL. He was getting hit a lot.
He's in there for the quick dollars, nobody should support that, look at Lamon Brewster as a recent example, fighters like this need to be encouraged to hang em up, not told to hang em up in a blunt manner.

I just wish he'd do the right thing, he's a good guy and a gentleman.

What's to say Alvarez is easy to look good against? If he's so easy to hit and has a unsteady chin then he would have been rocked way more than he has

I have a feeling Shane is going to price himself out of the fight..... he just turned down 1.5 to fight Anthony Mundine in Australia.
