To be fair, he did have enough power to keep Angulo honest, and Angulo had a very good chin.

From the start, since this fight was announced, I had always given Shane a slight chance of KO'ing Alvarez. (It's really the only way he can win)

Especially if "he's got that **** in em'".

No minors!? Unlucky mate, you're clearly a better driver than the majority of learners, and people who have already passed! Good luck next time, I'm sure you'll get it!

Shane still has speed in small bursts, and power is the last thing to go. The worry is that Shane will just gas after 5 rounds and look to survive. He'll be moving laterally and trying to set up a big right hand with the jab, however can he still pull the trigger? If he sees the opening is he still sharp enough to land his power punches? Canelo will be right in front of him, and he likes to bang, so there will be opportunities for Shane. Would be great for Shane's legacy!

However, I see Canelo being cautious of Shane's power and reputation in the early goings, once Shane has visibly gotten weaker then he'll press.

How do you see Mayweather-Cotto playing? I see Mayweather winning an 8-4 type decision.

    Thanks buddy.

Yeah, I agree he looks weaker every time we see him. He couldn't even bully Pacquaio about. He has to take the first opening he sees, or his career is done. I'm banking on that do or die situation forcing him into throwing punches, but I'm not overly hopeful. I picked Hopkins to win and got that wrong, it's really just me leaning towards my child hood favourites :-(

10oz gloves = an 8-4/9-3 UD for Mayweather. 8oz gloves had me leaning to an 11th round KO for Floyd. I'm looking forward to it though, there's so many variables in this fight. Pedro Diaz makes it interesting for me. Invincible men only exist in the movies. I think he's the best trainer in the world. I've followed him since he was working with the Cuban amatuer team. I just don't think Cotto is the man to beat Mayweather.

Yeah I have the feeling that if it gets out of the 5th round, there's only going to be one winner. Shane shouldn't fight on even if he wins, it would be a shame to see another great fighter become a stepping stone. If Canelo gets reckless early on, Shane will hurt him. Hopkins still looks surprisingly sharp, Chad will always be a tough match up for him. If Hopkins fought Cleverly next, I think Hopkins would beat him.

Do you think Floyd would win on cuts? Or an actual KO? I think if Miguel's in trouble, he'll know enough to be able to hold on. Pedro Diaz's boxing knowledge is being pitted against the ultimate test in boxing, how to beat Floyd Mayweather!? Cotto doesn't have the jab or range to beat Floyd and back him up, I think they'll fight in the pocket a lot, and I see Mayweather getting the better of it. The only fighter capable of beating Mayweather (around these weights) is Martinez, but that fight won't happen.

Hopkins beats Cleverly and Cloud IMO, but I don't really see the point when he'd have to settle for being number two in the LHW division. He's never done that in his life. At Cruiserweight, his only real financially viable fight would be Tarver, which would be shown on Showtime. I wish he'd call it a day to be honest, though alot of skills are still in tact. He's lacking offensively now.

Pedro Diaz is the best trainer in the world IMO, but he doesn't have the fighter to beat Mayweather. You're bang on, Martinez is the only one that I give a real chance too.

I was picking a corner stoppage because Cotto had been taking too many shots. 8oz gloves would emphasize Mayweather's speed advantage and increase the impact of his punches. Cuts is a possiblity, they're more likely to happen when you're being hit by sharp punches, as opposed to clubbing ones from the likes of Mayorga.

yeah I made some bold picks, but I'm feel like going big today.

    20000 on Floyd at 0.27 = 5400
    5000 on Mosley at 7.50 = 37500
    7921 on Huck at 0.57 = 4515
    32921(now) + 47415(if won)= 80336 :jjj I hope I fricken win. It's either go big or go home :admin

As proven by Foreman power is always the last thing to go when losing it, but i don't think Mosley has the fire in him anymore

I think Hopkins could beat Marco Huck and win a cruiserweight title. Huck is a ****ing caveman, BHop would clown him.

I think Sergio would be too quick for Floyd, beating Sergio would be better than beating Pacquiao.

Personally I don't see Floyd stopping Cotto, he doesn't have the volume or relentlessness of Pacquiao, I don't Floyd has the single shot power either. I see Floyd landing the cleaner, more effective punches en route to winning a decision.

his handspeed is aight, but I feel like it's all for show like he's trying to punch as fast as he can all the time.
    His feet are slow though
