How would Max Schmeling had succeeded in boxing if he had been born in 1975 instead of 1905. Assuming he would fight in the cruiserweight which is natural weight for him.

Would he win just one of the belts or would he win them all?

If Schmeling was born 70 years later he'd be a whopping fetus.

The prospect of him picking a different career path entirely is not out of the question. He was an inteligent and industrious man who would have had other options open to him. Even if he had gone into boxing it might have been his hobby rather than his career.

If we assume that he did pursue a career as a profesional fighter, then I cannot see anybody in the curent cruiserweight division giving him serious problems, though politics would likley prevent him from unifying. It is probable that he would ultimately have done as Haye and Admek have done and step up to take on the big boys.

Schemlling was a fantastic fighter with a victory over the greatest heavyweight in history at a time he was deemed unstoppable.

he'd have success in any era.

Not sure if Max is a natural cruiserweight. Maybe. In the late 1920's through late 1920's he fought in the high 180's and low 190's.

What belongs to a person, substantially, is his potential for size. His or her actual size at any moment is a combination of natural potential, habits of nutrition and exercise, and the influence of their environment.

Born in 1975, it might be reasonable to expect Max to be the better part of an inch taller. I suppose if he trained about the same, he'd be very near our current (200lb) cruiser limit; if his training regime were different, or if he comsumed with an idea to bulk, then he'd be larger.

Probably Max could be called a natural cruiser according to current definition; but it probably wouldn't be any great stretch for a person with his potential for size to go a bit further than cruiser.

Max Schmeling by all odds was one of the best right-hand punchers in heavyweight history,
FAST and ACCURATE. Watch his powerful right cross in his first fight against Joe Louis
in 1936, like a laser...Today he would give anyone big trouble as DER MAX, could box and hit, and was very wily. The second fight with the young ,prime Louis saw Max in his thirties and past his prime...

His career would be comparable to Adamek“s but I think even more successful.

With the arrival of day before weigh ins it is doubtful he would have left 175 in my opinion.

He might have fought at 175, or at 220.
Both possible nowadays. He was about 6'2 with a medium-large frame.

He'd be world class in whatever division.
I'd bet on him to KO Haye.
