If Shane beats Floyd...does that put him on par with the two other SUGARS?

Now it's fair to say while Shane Mosley deserves to be at least mentioned with Sugar Ray Robinson and Sugar Ray Leonard, that he doesn't have the record of the two. However, if he beats Floyd...and at 38, no less...will that put him in the ballpark?

If he beats Floyd, Pac, and Clottey, then he could hold their jockstraps.

If he beat Floyd and Pacquiao and maybe one more good one, then yes. If he avenged a loss to Wright or Cotto, that would look very nice. But I don't think he'll beat Floyd and if he doesn't do that, probably won't fight Pac either.

Edit: Nah, actually probably not. No. No he wouldn't. Sorry.

    Second edit: ...Well....

Third edit: ...No. But it would be a top 30 ATG in my book, I think.

Floyd is already better than both former sugars,
so beating Floyd is a sure thing.

    Nope.

That does not mean he would not be highly regarded however.

Shane is my man, but even in his prime he couldn't beat Forrest and Winky Wright. He lost to Cotto and I had him losing the 2nd fight to Oscar. But it could have gone either way.

There is no way you can put shane mosley in the same bracket of Ray Robinson. Now if he beat Mayweather then you could have an argument for mentioning his name alongside Ray Leonard but certainly not Robinson.

man thats a good question initial reaction is , of course not but the more you think about it... beating the number 1 p4p at 38 on top of his other achievments...............well....maybe not, but if he could get pac in the ring and beat him too it would be ****in close !
