This is a good question, but i'd have to say no. I mean when it's all said and done Shane will be considered an ATG, but the Sugar Ray's are both Top 10 atg's

 

It's not a good question cause both sugar Ray's have way way way better careers and resumes then Mosley. If Mosley beats Mayweather that won't put him up there. If anybody here that is a true boxing fan would agree with me.

Shane has never really captured that "sugar" status but at this stage of his career, being older and obviously past his prime, if he could pull it together and beat the prime, undefeated P4P #1 (IMO) PBF, this would take him to ATG status indefinitely -- and the sugar name would finally be warranted.

 

He may not be as great as the other sugars, but he is by no means levels below them if he defeats PBF.

 

Mosley is a hall of famer no doubt and is a great fighter but close to the sugar rays level? Hell No if he beats Mayweather. I don't think Mayweather is better then Leonard.

 

Interms of career status and resumes? If he beats Mayweather he still level below the sugar rays.
