If Shane Mosley were to beat Floyd Mayweather, where does he rank all time?

There were definitely some fights there for Shane that would have been much much harder for him then the guys he had been facing.

Realistically though..the chances of fighting them all would have been slim, you cant really blame him there..Plus Im suprised he stayed at lightweight as long as he did, he must have been cutting a lot just to make it.

I think the glaring ommissions would have been Johnston and Bazan..I have no doubt Shane handles Cesar but Stevie would have been a very interesting matchup. Grigorian also would have been tough going...I have heard several people say they reckon Artur was the best H2H fighter around tha time..but no way that fight would have ever happened anyway.

Shane would easily be top100...Id probably say 70-80 with his roid penalty.

Beating a chicken like Floyd would look nice on someone's resume but c'mon.. Floyd is a guy that runs and ducks, he's not gonna slug it out with Mosley or anyone...it's all about plaiying it safe and outrunning his opponents for Floyd... Really, what kind of risk is Floyd for someone like Shane??? I rank beating the likes of Margarito and Cotto even higher... those were true risks and say what you want, I still think Mosley beat Cotto.

I agree although a win over Mayorga means not much to me. That is like Hearns win over Roldan. A good win, but Hearns and Mosley are much better than Mayorga and Roldan, who were similar fighters in a way. I actually think Roldan was a little better.
