If Shane Mosley were to beat Mayweather?

    A win over Mayweather would move Shane that much more up the ATG ladder. Why do you think Mayweather is avoiding him now? He knows what's coming his way if he gets in the ring with Shane. That's a completely different animal than he's ever fought before.

    SSM is NOT gonna beat PBF, in 03 I would've taken him but he is just to old now. Against PBF he would show his age.

    Does Margarito know he got beat by a worn down old man?

    Shane still has the pace, power and stamina to fight anyone - he's no RJJ yet.

    Floyd would have massive problems if he fought someone of the Mosley/Pacquiao mould - that's why he avoids speedy powerful punchers, because he wouldn't be able to run from them.

    Mosely is just too easy to hit to beat Floyd. As good as Shane is, Floyd would exploit Shane's defensive liabilities.

    Lets be harsh here like people are with DLH shall we? I like Mosley but let's see.

    Got a gift vs Oscar the second fight, after using STEROIDS.

    Recent fights:

    Mayorga, past his prime brawler, one of my favs but little technique. Mosley didn't look that great here.
    Vargas, shot, or almost shot.
    Collazo is a gate keeper.
    Margarito is his best win.
    Lost to cotto but it was a good performance

    You guys considered Margarito an elite fighter after Cotto? He beat Cotto and Clottey (with broken hand, would like to see what happened in a rematch). Cintron would get beat my a lot of people, he's nothing special. Lost to Williams. And now add to that, he might have used loaded gloves before.


    Overall, his wins aren't that special. But the Margarito performance was. His performance against Cotto was good for his age.
