If some of you think PACQUIAO is on PEDs...then why wouldn't HOPKINS also be on PEDs?

    1. Pac has been brutalizing bigger guys who might be shot but are still considered skilled fighters. All of them had to be taken to the hospital after suffering a severe beating
    2. Pac turned down a stiff drug test. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it causes suspicion no matter who you are.
    3. Some of his defense tactics against the allegation is kinda bull****. For example, telling us he doesn't know what steroids are when he's been working in America for nearly a decade is leaky.
    4. Hopkins has a totally different style that is more defensive than offensive. He doesn't throw a ton of punches and relies on timing more than speed.
    5. Everyone in boxing including Hopkins is under suspicion until they go through a more advanced drug test. Pac is scrutinized more so than others because of reasons 1-3. Of course the Mayweathers going public with the allegation has something to do with it but they aren't exactly geniuses and I wouldn't subscribe to their propaganda. I don't need loudmouths to help me put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Simple..pacquiao is superb and unique that is the reason why. Such feat of wonder is truly amazing that one could
only imagine he is on something . Pacquiao surpasses
expectations and shut out critics against opponents that
they think are capable of beating him. The pacman now is part of boxing history and those who want to crucify him
with using peds will have to live with that. Their chants for
tests will fade like ripples of water...forgotten.:hi:

Going down doesn't change how he looked in the ring and if anyone looked tired in the ring it was Pascal the 28 year old...not Hopkins the 46 year old.

The point is that Hopkins hasn't been as busy and constantly pressing forward in a boxing ring in a long time, against Pascal, and at 46 years of age it's unprecedented...

By the way Pacquiao also trains like a mad man and has been doing so way before going up in weight from 130lbs.

If Pacquiao can be seen as possibly guilty of something..Hopkins could just as easily !

Pac is a proven cheat. He ONLY accepted a 7 day cut off! He's gonna dope for sure in those 7 days!

Hopkins took Pascal to school, he didn't beat him with stamina and blazing handspeed/power.

    Peds dont enhance skills

He outworked and outpunched Pascal, while constantly pressing forward for almost 12 full rounds...stamina is a big part of it.

The young buck looked drained..Hopkins looked like he could keep going for another 6 rounds...at 46 !!!

Yeah he threw more punches than Pascal what's your point and how does that equate to being on peds. If Hopkins started throwing 1000 punches per round and KO'ing people I would suspect peds, he throws less punches now than when he was younger, he's also visibly slower than when he was younger, he also has not been knocked down in years prior to Pascal

Body work makes people sluggish and it also makes them not throw a lot of punches, not being able to land contributes as well.

I dont believe manny is juicing, but he does throw more punches than he did at lower weights and he does seem to have more power now.

By the way, Manny doesn't look like he has more power now, his strength is from the accumulated damage he puts on his opponents, or throwing punches from angles the bigger but slower guys never see coming !

Look, I don't think Hopkins' on anything so I'm not arguing over that. I'm just making a fair comparison with Pacman.

Hopkins finished a tough fight with Pascal looking like fresh rose ready to fight another 5-6 rounds while Pascal looked beat.

Of course at 45-46 years of age, I don't expect a guy to throw 1000 punches per fight but I certainly don't expect him either to outwork and outpunch a tough and hungry young champ.

Hopkins hasn't been in a long time a high enough workrate kind of fighter but against Pascal, he threw punches as much or more as he's done since basically the Trinidad fight... + he pressed forward all night non stop. Again he looked like he just had a walk in the park at the end of it all....being 1 month away from 46 !!!

If Pacquiao should be suspected I find no reason not to suspect a 46 year old to fight that way !! That's the point !!

The explanation is simple. After Hopkins gassed in the later part of the Calzaghe fight, Roach recomended that he try some of Pac's secret supplements, and the rest is history. Hopkins is rejuvinated now and can fight 15 rounds easily, according to his own words after the Pascal fight.

Fighters usually dont compete at a high level till theyre 46 so yes thats a valid point.

Fighters power usually doesnt carry up through weight divisions, is the argument, Pac also never brutally turned people's faces into hamburger against top guys below 135lbs, like he did to Cotto, DLH and Margarito, even Diaz

Maybe Pascal isnt a tough hungry champion and maybe he's not very good to begin with, he's obviously one dimensional and throws big looping bombs, he's pretty much fought the same way in every fight. That was successful against Dawson, but Hopkins is a different fighter, he was never hurt is why he kept coming.

This is actually the right answer. Because someone with a high profile like Floyd Joy has accused Pac, that **** sticks. Everyone who hugs Joy's nuts will agree with his opinion.

If Floyd Joy suddenly accused Hopkins (which would happen if a fight between him and Floyd Jr was feasible) then he would suffer from the same slur.
