If Spence loses to Mikey, his career is done!

And who would he beat easily? Munguia or Harrison? Hurd won't be an easy task for him.

Fighters lose, and I have Garcia as the better fighter P4P (#3). If Spence loses there will be a HUGE money rematch, and if he wins that, a third. Also the other WWs will be emboldened to fight him. In some ways that's his best option at 147.

 

Most people are picking Spence to win the fight (about 7 out of 10). Where are those many people that you mentioned above who are picking Gracia to win it? Besides, it is BS to say that Spence will be done if he loses to Mikey. He won't.

 

Oscar the part time boxer? You're giving that win too much credit.

 

There isn’t anybody but hurd that wouldn’t be easy.
At 147, he’d still beat any of the B rate welters easy.
He’s not losing to mikey anyway. By the time he gets to 154, hurd will be at 160.

 

With all due respect I favored pac to beat oscar and don’t personally know anybody who picked oscar. The odds were close. Spence is a big favor. I think he should be closer to a 2-1 favor but still a favor. If Mikey beats Spence, I think it’s a bigger upset then manny over oscar. Personally I didn’t think that was an upset. It was historic just because oscar had a name like canelo.

 

i made that post exactly 1 month ago, when the closest odds i could find was 4-1. today the odds sit at -2.5 and +2.5. that proves what i expected would happen, the people betting on mikey will tighten the odds as they start to see how good mikey really is.
