If Spence wants to stop Pacquiao he's gonna have to walk through fire and brimstone to get it.

Let's say pac is just a 7-8 to round fighter. That's already 75% of the fight where pac will be tough. I can't see Spence outmuscling pac in the inside. And it's hard to imagine Spence outboxing pac on the outside like floyd did. It's just not his style. Pac may be past prime but he's just got a better tactical offense. Spence is gonna have to risk getting dropped which I can see pac doing. Spence is gonna have to go to pacs body and work on him keep it close, but i can see pac countering him.... . Spence even with the youth and size is still gonna have to work for it. Anyone who thinks this is gonna be a wash.... it won't it will be competitive.

He could NOT even KO over bloated MIkey, Danny, and Pacman's sparring partner in Porter.
No bloody way on EARTH can Spence KO the Pacman :campeon:

Pacquaio has had 1 single TKO win (Matthysse) in his last 16 fights over the past 11 years,

Also, let's not forget he has lost 4 of those 16 and was brutally knocked out in one of them.

He has now been inactive for 2 years and is 42 years old, so let's not pretend this is the Pacquaio that fought Ricky Hatton or Cotto..

Because that little juicy Pacquaio is long gone.

Pac couldn't find his prime in the rear view mirror! This will be a very tough fight for Pac and I doubt he will emerge victorious. Inactivity is bad for boxers and the older you get the worse it is. Pac is aggressive and I wouldn't be surprised if Spence caught him on the way in. I truly feel this is Pacs cash out fight.

If Thurman had the stamina and didn't get caught with that bodyshot, I saw Pac fading hard in the late rounds. If that was Spence putting it on him and Pac is too tired to fire back, I could see a stoppage.

    Pac is 2 years older.

Hoping for some more legendary miracles from Pac. I think his most shocking performances have been:
    - MAB - went up from 122 to 126 to annihilate a top 3 p4p. It wasn't just that he beat 3-1 odds, he anihilated him.
    - ODLH - Boxing writers wanted to cancel the fight as they feared for his safety. I think 90% of ring writers picked ODLH.
    - Hatton - The 2 rounds annihilation and I better he would stop Hatton inside 3.
    - Cotto - First fight against a true WW as many still thought ODLH fight was a fluke. His best performance ever.
    - Margarito - It was a former flyweight against one of the biggest WWs ever at JMW.
    - Thurman - I was half expecting him to lose.

So it wouldn't be the first time, but I'd say I'm no more nervous for this fight than I was for ODLH. It's a big bite. Don't forget that Pac only had 1 tuneup at 135, so he was going up 3 weight classes to face an ATG WW who just took Floyd to an SD 10 months prior.

I'd be surprised if he stopped Pac. Only times he's been stopped was when he was weight drained early in his career and against JMM who walked him onto a monster right hand counter and Spence being a southpaw doesn't have the right hand that is a threat to Pac and doesn't have the countering style to catch Pac coming in as Spence is most effective on the front foot.
