If Stevenson beats Valdez in April, is it time to start including him in the discussion for top 10 P4P?

Valdez is nowhere near elite, he got his ears boxed off and got a gift decision.

    Top 10?

    Very close or just inside.
Herring and Valdez back to back are solid wins.

Imo, yes. Extremely skilled, two-division champion.

I would say yes considering he be defeating two champions in a row, an "undefeated" champion with a good resume right after defeating another champion. If this doesn't put Shakur in top 10 P4P at the bottom, then at least it is a step on the right direction for when he does fight another top 5 fighter in his weight division.

A case could be made for the winner no doubt.

Dunno.. looks like a weight grifter to me.. probably walks around at 155lbs.. each to their own though… It's only personal opinion… But Herring is ancient (Frampton was clearly shot).. Valdez is good but he's a juicer , probably really upped the ante on that **** recently.. looked unspectacular before Berchelt.. if we are taking ring mag then men like Kambosos & Chocolatito aren't even on it so there's no way Stevenson should be…

Who cares if they are undefeated… There are many defeated fighters better than those two

It will catch up to him just like it did for Lopez and Taylor. Give it time.

I do not think Valdez won in his last fight against Conceicao and I do think there is many boxers much better than them with losses on their record. Just stating that the undefeated resume could be used to catapult Shakur to the top 10 P4P.

No. There are so many multi division and unified champs in boxing right now that while this is impressive he's simply outgunned
