I remember a saying how a boxer beats a puncher, a puncher beats a swarmer and a swarmer beats a boxer.

But this doesnt always hold true because it really comes down to the fighter. But do you guys see any truth to this, that one style generally beats another?

    Styles make fights;)

Well I suppose you could say, the face first brawler with no punch but a great chin; beats the china chinned one punch bomber.

In the most general terms this hold's true.

Then you have to factor in other details which are also part of the style like-

Suceptibility to a given punch eg left hook.

    Durability/power.

    Orthodox/southpaw and suceptibility to.

By the time you take everything into acount it is a complex equation.
