If Sultan opts to go to war early, can Klitschko vs Ibragimov be a Hagler vs Hearns?

I think he probably will, but it's easier said than done. However, Tyson had a very effective jab, so could Sultan. Also could by a ploy, he might try to box Vlad, but does not look so good on paper.

 

It was mentioned that Sultan has a below avarage chin... has he ever been down?

 

This fight might come down to conditioning. If Sultan can put on enough pressure he "might" be able to create the upset, but my money is on Wlad.

 

Yes, many forget that Sultan was known for his power before, so it could become a very exciting fight with lots of fireworks, but I thing it might be tactical. One reason is that Sultan is talking about going after Vlad early, not so sure about that the more I think about it.

 

I think Sultan needs to open up and get Vlad a bit uncomfortable, and launch some roundhouse shots. Try and get him early in a pier 6 Brawl. The other option is Vald on the outside pasting him with the thudding jab and launching KO rights until one of those Rockets finds Sultans chin and its over. Thats my opinion.

 

This is the only way Sultan can win IMO. Which means, he has little chance at winning. This scenario most likely ends in a KO loss for him. The other scenarios DEFINITELY end in a KO loss for him.

 

He lost two fights because of a metabolic breakdown. It happens to ironman triathletes who have superhuman stamina. You can be in super - shape and overpace and then hit the wall or you can have a bloodsugar - crash out of nowhere...it has nothing to do with general stamina. When Wlad lived in Hamburg, I watched him train, he once ran a 10k in 38 minutes, that is unbelievable stamina for a big man.

Zero chance of a Halger vs Hearns. Just not those type of fighters, plus we're talking heavyweights here (one a superheavy).

 

i beleive ibragmanov will fight a very technical fight with low output , staying on the outised using his deceptive foot and handspeed to get in and out and nick rounds, but i think wlad jabs to fast and to often and while wlad will look awkward and miss more than usual in this fight he will win.

inside the distance if ibragamov decides to take to many chances for the win, but given he took hardly any chances v holyfield i cannot see him boxing more aggressivley v wlad.

God no. Sultan does not have power to hurt Wlad. If he comes out swinging he's getting knocked the **** out in round 1. If he boxes, he's getting knocked the **** out in round 5.

 

I think he will use his speed and precision to score points, keeping away from Klischko as much as possible, hoping to win a close decision on the cards.

If he plays his cards right, Klischko should not be able to stop him before the 8th round or so.

 

No, both are safety-first, ultra-cautious minded precision hitters. They don't have the mental drive to go for broke unless they are badly cut ( vs Brock) or facing someone like Javier Mora... Iggy-Wlad something like Hagler-Hearns? That gat to be a bigger joke than sayin that Hops-ODLH would be Leonard-Hagler II ( but they said it prior to the fight nonetheless)!
