Imagine what would've happened if super six added 2 more fighters
    1 Bute
2 Andrade(Since he was mandatory at that time)

    First round:

Result: Ward goes Through with a shocking one sided victory.

Result: Froch advances with a very close UD. Since Dirrell was a coward in that one i got no complains even doh for some the decision was a bit controversial.

Result: Abraham knocks out Taylor in the 12th round of the fight and from the competition(there no need for replacement -Green)

Result: When everybody thought this will be a hard 12 rounds of boxing Bute shocks with a the 4th round ko of the iron chinned Andrade and advances further.

If there wasn't a random draw and the semifinal where to be set based on ranking. Kessler being nr1 b4 the fight an Bute being nr2 the organizers of the tournament wouldn't what those to to meet before the final and they would made the semifinal like this

    Semifinals:

    Ward vs Forch
    Bute vs Abraham

    or

    Ward vs Abraham
    Bute vs Froch

Not at all. Ward has a warrior spirit. He has weaknesses (lack of power), he fights more dirty than necessary (dull fight against Green for nothing), but he has heart, skills, and adapt very well in a ring. Dawson is not a true warrior and his ring IQ is miserable.

Ward would UD Abraham and Bute would UD Froch.

The final would have been Ward-Bute.

I agree, except I think Bute would KO Froch.

I would have been far more fast and exciting then what we have now. And it would've been more fair with Bute in it.

In the first round it would be only 1 thing different. Kessler vs Ward would take place in Denmark since Kessler was risking to lose the belt and be eliminated his manager wouldn't agree otherwise.

A single elimination tournament would have been much better and I've been saying it for some time now. It would've been much shorter, no one would drop out, and overall the competitor's wouldn't have to take as much punishment to get to the final prize... and even the guys who lost would be free to fight each other while the tournament was going on. A single elimination tournament is always the way to go.

Yep on the outside after only 1 round there would've been left fighters like:
    Dirrell , Kessler , Andrade , Miranda , Stieglitz , Green , Bika .
Not like what it happens right now with Bute who already fought Andrade twice, Bika and Miranda , Stieglitz has refused 2 offers and with Kessler being in the super six then taking a break to heal and Dirrell being to in super six he has no1 good to fight left in the division.

If Froch were to be matched with Ward he ends up embarrassed, beat down, and looking like a Kessler crash test dummy. Froch wouldn't have a prayer or a puncher's chance.

    One-sided slaughter is absolutely right.

lol, i think Showtime's learned that a boxing tournament cannot be modeled after a WorldCup soccer tournament lawlz.... how many years are we in already?

An 8-man single elimination bracketing system much more viable and only would take 3 sets to take place (1 1/2 yrs), vs the present 5 sets (2 1/2 yrs)...
