Well, if Garcia is too young or green then perhaps he should have kept his mouth shut and stop calling out Davis. RG has been going in on Davis for some time and now that the fight is made, people saying RG isn't experienced enough, even though he had over 200 am fight and almost as many pro fights as Davis? As far as the clause goes, RG could have said no. The fight would have happened regardless. Money talks. Tank doesn't know his fate with his legal affairs. Dude may be dumb, but I don't think his so dumb he would turn down his biggest payday to date, not knowing when his next fight will be after all the court issues.

If you think Garcia is just taller than Davis you can't be help. Also if you can't comprehend the concept of a rehydration clause being about weight, you can't be helped. The rehydration is all about weight.

For the record I think the rehydration is BS from Davis but Garcia agreed. The whole point of this thread was Davis shouldn't get full credit if he wins yet Garcia does. Which is BS.

Why would it be?... It's normal for African-Americans to support only African-American fighters... that's why I assumed he was African-American based on a comment he made

He screwed himself with the hydration requirement, he could probably beat Ryan without it, but there is always going to be that hang that will be brought up.

Why should he? He strong armed his opponent into accepting the deal or walking away. It’s like saying Tank can’t use all his power or Ryan can’t use his speed. Cutting weight is a part of boxing. Some can do it better than others just like some have more power, some are faster, some have better chins, etc. Taking away someone’s ability is a handicap. If it wasn’t important to Tank, it wouldn’t have been included. Tank has fought taller fighters before. He’s fought heavier fighters before. And now he has to limit how much his opponent can eat for the next 12-15 hours. Tank screwed up his own potential wins with many fans.

I don't only support only African american fighters i support american fighters but like fighters from other countries as well. I don't care who wins this fight I like both fighters I support them both. Both guys are draws and good for boxing. Just because I think tank beats him that doesn't mean I don't support garcia. You won't see me bashing garcia if he loses this fight just like you wont see me bashing tank if he loses. May the best man win. Your statement is ridiculous.

So when did Pacquiao ever put a clause on rehydration?

Plus are you talking about the one catchweight for Miguel Cotto when Pacquaio was just coming up in weight to test himself as it was Team Cotto that accommodated it for wanting to make that fight with Pacquiao's team plus wasn't it only 1 pound less than what Cotto weighed in his prior fight with Clottey at 146lb?

The Oscar fight was his own decision to come down to meet Pacquiao in the middle which he himself stipulated, but if you remember it was actually Pacquiao who had to go up two weight classes himself for that bout,

After that Cotto fight Manny fought at welterweight fine thereafter all the way until his retirement, even in the Margarito fight there was still no rehydration clause that was placed upon Antonio that i know of, so once again wrong comparison.
