Calzaghe, will people give Hopkins more credit for the victory or will they try and say Tarver wasn't at his best blah blah blah and he would of beat Hopkins if he was. I only pose this question cause if Calzaghe is a Tarver victim people are gonna start scratching their heads and wondering how Hopkins whooped Tarver. Or will they realize it had something to do with the thing called styles make fights. Or will they say Calzaghe fought an older hopkins than Tarver fought, so that's why Calzaghe gave him more fits(considering the fact you make a case hopkins beat Calzaghe by a slim margin, on my scorecard at least) , so the Hopkins that fought Tarver crushes Joe.(If of course Joe loses to Tarver if they fight in the future and makes people think about these what if's) Any thoughts?

just bc fighter a beats fighter b does NOT means fighter a can beat fighter c!

If Tarver is able to beat Chad it doesn't automatically make Joe able to beat tarver OR Chad. that is ridiculous. Don't be stupid, style makes fights. Not to mention BHOP fought Joe a year and more later after he beat Tarver. Too much variables.

Will people give Hopkins more credit though, cause for some reason nobody on this board gives Hopkins any credit for the Tarver victory.

I have a ton of respect for Bhop. He beat Tito when Tito was knocking middle weights around. Both Tito and Oscar are good size jr. middles before stepping in to fight Bhop. Tito was at peak of prime and bhop should be credited. Bhop also beat Tarver when Tarver is at the top. Tarver made no excuses of the weigh loss and he shouldn't. Bhop simply have the style to give everyone problems but it is clear that Bhop haven't looked his best in a long long while and hell I had it even against Joe. And the only reason why he lost was bc he just couldn't fight 3 mins of each round anymore. He would've have beaten Joe easy if he wasn't so damn old.

Ok, and I agree with your assessment all the way except for the calzaghe one. I thought B-hop still won even though he showed signs of age in the later stages of the fight.

Tarver will get credit for beating Dawson, but if he can pull it off against Calzaghe, which I don't think will happen(Calzaghe UD btw), then he'd be p4p once again and a more heralded fighter.

....and Tarver will be shouting P4P type nonsense and how he is a bad ass and would have stopped B-Hop in 3 had he been healthy.
