Tarver baby at age 42 doesn't have the time left to clean out the division... Tarver ain't that active anymore.... BUT! As it stands, I think he's already done enough to be fully considered for the IBHOF down the road....

I think that he will already be there. He has a long career ahead of him as a great commentator. Add that to his successful career and I am sure he will be in the HOF.

The guy is already set in the Hall of Fame, so long as he doesnt retire in the same year as Mayweather pacman and Hopkins.

Yeah, I think his victory over Green, along with his high visibility at Showtime, sealed his entry into the HOF, probably.

    Reggie Johnson
    Roy Jones x2
    Montell Griffin
    Glen Johnson
    Clinton Woods
    Eric Harding
    Danny Green

Arguably he will make it in with that resume, but if he gets one more good win it will be sealed.

I think he is already in the conversation, 40-60 against but in the conversation. But if he was to beat Steve Cunningham and Marco Huck, I think it would definitely make the case against him much harder.

Tarver is 42 but due to his late start he doesn't have a lot of mileage on him for that age.
If he fights on like Hopkins there is a lot more he can achieve provided he doesn't stake on a heap of weight between fights.

i don't think he's in right now. some good wins but he basically lost to all those fighters as well. if he cleaned out the division at cruiser, it'd be hard not to put him in.

Not enough depth on his resume.

Cant live off of the Roy win forever.

Being a 3 time World Champ isn't anything to sneeze at. That coupled with his epic destruction of the "unbeatable" Roy Jones Jr definitely gets him into the HOF.

He deserves to be in the HOF already imo. If he keeps on getting good wins like this one then it should seal the deal.
