I hear ya noespam, i really am not a fan of the way AA fights, and i picked Taylor to win because of exactly that, AA fights in spurts, and covers up the rest of the time, I figured with his height and jab, Taylor would be able to dictate more, but even so.... AA was winning the fight comfortably imo.

I had 7-3-1 for Abraham, Taylor had a point deducted.

I scored the first 3 rounds to Taylor. After that, Abraham won every round, Taylor fouled a point away in a close round, so maybe you could have that even, but Abraham was controlling him and battering him from the 5th on. (4th was close.)

I love Taylor but he was losing that fight by several rounds unfortunately.

There's no way you could have Taylor winning.

Haha.. there is absolutely no way Taylor won more than 3 rounds. I had Taylor ahead in the Froch fight though before he got floored.. but no way in hell he was ahead in the Abraham fight..

I think the judges actually had it right...107-102, 105-103, 106-102. I personally didn't give Taylor all those rounds where he simply landed punches on Abraham's guard. Yes, Taylor was throwing his jab, but it was hardly effective, and almost never scored.

Abraham was up big...I remember thinking Taylor had to have a KO to win after the 8th.

Because OP said in another thread that Taylor was coasting to victory before AA landed a 'desperation punch' and I called him delusional, so he said he'd make a poll to see what everyone else thought....

When AA starts to fight he is very hard to beat. I dont think JT won a round after the first 3. Ward will be the one who beats AA though.

Jermain Taylor looked absolutely atrocious right from the opening bell. NONE of his trademark weaponry was present.

AA lost the first few rounds, but he nearly always gives the first 3-4 rounds away. That's why I have long maintained that the way to beat Arthur is not some silly ass **** about "out-slicking" him. The way you beat Artur Abraham is jump on his lazy ass early, hurt him, and keep him hurt.

the way to beat AA is to be on your bicycle and force him to make the fight. What suits him best is somebody going for him so he can cover up and have his opponent waste his energy on his gloves and elbows.

Who would be able to do that in your opinion?

This game plan sounds good, but who is the one who could execute it?
