Not saying he does! What I am saying is guys like Corley actually buzzed Mayweather, but a guy like Oscar couldn't wake him out of his sleep! Does that make Corley a harder hitter? Or, for a more pertinent example, think about Taylor's resume when he fought Hopkins.

Taylor had never faced anyone the caliber of Miranda at that stage in his carrier.

It looks like a 50/50 fight in my mind. The difference will be Taylor's defense. Taylor's to smart to just stand in there and take shot after shot like Miranda, but if he does too much running he will be easy outpointed by pavlik, who has a high workrate and is accurate.

I think both fighters will be primed and hungry. It's likely to be an excellent fight.

 

I think the more interesting question is if Pavlik beats Taylor.
