He was clearly winning the fight, but not by that margin. The rounds were easy to score, Taylor won the rounds where Abraham did nothing, or just for the last 30 seconds, Abraham won the rounds where he chased Taylor around the ring, throwing powerpunches for almost 2 minutes, or staggering Taylor. It takes a stupid of epic proportions to try handing Taylor the rounds where he jabbed Abrahams arms for a minute, carefully staying out of reach to really connect, and then was chased around for 2 minutes, not throwing a punch, getting decked hiding in a corner. "He was not throwing punches for the first minute!" Yeah, genius, but a round consists of 3 minutes, so when he dominates the last 2, that is 2/3 of a round. What about giving Abraham the round then ? "NOOOO, Taylor won the first minute! And Abraham is slow!". Right, Mr. Einstein, Taylor won the fight, the KO doesn't count because Abrahams trouser was torn.

In the end, Taylor dropped like 2-3 rounds too many, letting Abrahams power flurries impress him into not fighting back, and not countering. Even if you give him (unfairly) all of the first 5 rounds, he ends up with a 113-114 against him, and the low blows WERE low.

I've to agree. At least the first 2 rounds and maybe also the 3rd were definitely Taylor's rounds. Even without the point deduction for the low blow AA would've won the fight on the cards.

Yes, no doubt we'd have had the usual bleating about robbberies etc.

Although germany is notorious for poor decisions, I had AA up by two points going into the last

How many clean hard punches did AA land then during the first 11 rounds? Put the glasses on because they were very few so few that everyone was getting bored. He hit mostly air in there. So, put the glasses on next time.

He landed all of his body punches, outlanded Taylor 3:1 there, and also outlanded Taylor on powerpunches that grazed through the defense with a bit of glove contact by 2:1 in the rounds he extended his flurries for almost 2 minutes a round. The only thing Taylor did more were his "jabs", which did not land AT ALL, and were all thrown OUT OF REACH to fake activity. Taylor has thrown like 2-3 good hooks a round all landing on Abrahams gloves (he connected NONE after round 4), but Abraham landed the very same "near misses" on Taylors gloves, just 5-10 of them when he went for his flurry. So how exactly did you get Taylor the round, when both were not landing powerpunches, but Abraham outlanded him at least 3:1 on the guard, backing him up across the ring ?

Only a joker who started typing how Taylor won the round after 60 seconds each round, not watching Abraham chase him around the ring afterwards, would give Taylor that many rounds. But there is no shortage of jokers here, who write the same **** about Abraham as they do about either Klitschko. Arreola was totally outlanding Vitali too, Vitali was just running !

I had Taylor up 3-1 after the first four, from that point on it was all Arthur. Arthur just seems to be able to read his opponents well, he can tell when to rachet up the pressure and when to go for the KO. Jermain boxed as well as we have seen him box in a long time, and he clearly came in the best shape of his career since the Hopkins fights, but Arthur is just a class above him.

Put the glasses on next time. AA landed very few power shots. He hit mostly air during the first 11 rounds.

AA chasing Taylor around the ring. :rofl You are a joke my friend. Did you even watch the fight because AA never really put pressure on Taylor.

Well, even the german commentator had AA down 3-1 after the first 4. :rofl What does that tell you?

AA won by impressive KO and without controversy but taht does not mean he dominated the fight. The fight was actually very close.

I see your reading skills are exactly as bad as your watching skills.

I said, BOTH were not really landing anything but grazing shots. But Taylor didn't throw more grazing powershots landing on Abrahams gloves, than Abraham threw powershots in bunches landing on Taylors gloves. If the only thing that lands is on gloves, the one who throws more powershots on the gloves wins. And that was Abraham in the second half of the fight from round 5 on. Easy, huh ?

And if you didn't see Abraham chasing Taylor with flurries around the ring, PLEASE watch the ****ing second half of the fight here: http://www.mdr.de/boxen-im-ersten/6782079.html

You obviously didn't watch the fight, just spout bull**** on the internet from reading halfway through threads what other american imposters wrote. I am sick and tired of US clowns who actually DIDN'T WATCH the fight, but claim crap as if they did. The same **** with the first Miranda fight, "nooes, he didn't punch low, oh noes, he didn't headbutt, oh noes, he wasn't rocked, oh noes, you don't get 5 minutes of a medical break for an intentional headbutt, oh noes, you don't get deductions for 20 blatant intentional low blows".

I think that everyone with a brain watching the fight could see that AA was breaking down the courageous Jermain Taylor...JT fought like a warrior but was surprised by how hard King Arthur punched. It was painful to watch.
