If Team Pac avoids "slick black" fighters, does Team Floyd avoid "good welters"?

Haters or not...I think manny of them have valid points. Some spin ****....just like you did in order to support your own opinion. THere is no doubt Baldo didn't garner Floyd more recognition than a "W" over Marg. Sure Baldo was the "Ring" champ and that was good for him...But Floyd could have beaten MARG, then Baldo but seem to avoid Tony.

Why did Manny pick Diaz and not Holt? Holt KOed Diaz. So was Diaz the stiff competition at LW?

Why Hatton and not Bradley or Campbell? Hatton was whipped by Collazo. KOed by Mayweather. So was he the man to beat at LW?

    Nobody has answers.

Everybody has answers. Everyone who knows anything about boxing knows the answers to those questions. You are an imbecile if you don't, because the answers are very, very simple.

Why Diaz and not Holt? Because Holt was fighting at lww at the time, and Pac was moving up from sfw to lw. Why would he skip a division just to fight global megastar Kendall Holt?

Why Hatton and not Bradley or Campbell?

Money and prestige. Money: Ricky Hatton sold 57,000 tickets for the fight with little-known Lazcano AFTER he had been KO'd by Mayweather. Prestige: Hatton was The Ring champion at lww, the universally recognized number 1 at lww, and was undefeated at his prime weight, lww.

Bradley and Campbell would be lucky to sell 57 tickets for a fight with Lazcano, never mind 57,000. And both men were ranked behind Hatton in the rankings, both the lww rankings and the p4p rankings.

Everybody knows this except you. What does that tell you? Join the rest of us on Planet Earth.

  6. Who cares. Most Floyd fans are African Americans who's self esteem is permenently entangled with Floyd success. It's pointless arguing with them. I dont mind theyre good for the sport.

Good thread, you could've just said "welters" instead of "good welters" in the title though...

And they have losses. What is the point in fighting guys with losses? They've already been beaten, so poor Floyd will get no credit if he fights these guys. Never mind the fact Chico and Ricky are the only two undefeated fighters he's fought...

Even though the Marquez welterweight match-up was crap, Floyd fought the WBC/linear champion in Baldomir and Judah, the recently former undisputed and then-current IBF champ. Fighting two champs, the linear and recently linear champ, that's what fighters SHOULD be doing if they want bragging rights.

Actually, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm now thinking maybe I'm remembering wrong and Zab and Baldo hadn't been linear champs. I know Zab was undisputed and Baldo only paid sanctioning fees for WBC so he didn't get the two other titles that he'd earned in the ring. Maybe that's what I was thinking about. Anybody have a link to the Ring welterweight title holders? Because I think I remember them holding those titles too.

You *******. David Diaz was fighting as high as 146 before the fight with Manny. He came down to fight Manny. Manny could have just as easily asked Holt to come down idiot. He didn't.

Again, you show you are another sheep led by the biased media. Everyone who KNOWS boxing knew that Ricky Hatton was a trumped up clown. Even now that clown is ranked number one.

Now Manny is fighting for money and prestige? Ain't that the same clown crap you sheep used to reason that Mayweather should have fought Margacheato instead of Baldomir? Who gives a damn about the money right? Campbell and Bradley where the best down there. Why did Manny Cherry pick around them?

Then you don't even mention how when Manny goes up to WW and "challenges" himself, he picks the most battle worn WW champ who just so happens NOT to be...

No most boxing "fans" are ignorant sheep like you. Now the sheep have all become *******s.
