He offered to fight Clenelo at a catchweight of 158.

So Canelo is overrated, cherry picks and only wins because he buys judges (according to many here)...
But if Bud beats a guy people here love to crap on... He's the GOAT?

    Ok then.

This is horrific PBC logic. Canelo's clearest losses are against BOXERS (Floyd and Bivol) and NOT GGG or Kovalev.

I do think Crawford could beat Canelo, Canelo is short and an ageing fighter. I appreciate Bud is older but Canelo has been fighting since he was 15

Henry Armstrong is still the Goat, got jobbed by the mafia, would have had 4 titles at the same time.

Not the goat, but the goat win maybe?

Still Duran stepping up to beat Ray is the greatest win. Roberto is the true boxing goat of the TV era

He ain't knocking out Canelo, his neck is conditioned to absorb punches from guys like Wilder at full force! :deal:

Canelo has a great chin hes not gonna stop him but I wouldn't be surprise if Crawford takes him to school my only question mark is the size issue if both were the same size I would pick Crawford without hesitation but as it is jumping three weight classes might be too much for Crawford but hey let's see it.

Canelo is not going to get KD by anyone currently at 147. The last guy who tried that was a “KHAN”

That would be a tremendous accomplishment I wouldn't call him the goat for it

I dislike Bud and Clenelo, but jumping 3 weight classes and KOing the Undisputed Champion — that's the GOAT.

It would be like Knockout Freshmart CP going to 122 and KOing Inoue.

Spinks-Holmes, 175 to 200+ = 25lbs up, and still outweighed by 25lbs. (Spinks was 190-195lbs fightnight at 175lbs so that helped)
Jones vs Ruiz about same thing, I believe they cut each guys actual weight by 7lbs, so in reality Jones was about 199lbs and Ruiz around 230lbs. If I remember right.
Charles vs Joey Maxim, 160lb Ezzard Charles beats the 20lb heavier Joey Maxim
Charles vs Joe Loius, 180lb Ezzard Charles beats 30lb heavier Joe Louis.

This is the realm Crawford is playing with, moving up about 20lbs, will be outweighed by close to 20lbs. But at least he’s not disadvantaged by length.

Hopkins 160 to 175, Hopkins moved up 15lbs but was only outweighed by 5lbs on the night. <— this is closer to what we’re getting with Charlo vs Alvarez. Except imagine that Hopkins has a 4 inch larger frame and reach advantage over Tarver.
