that is the only pound per pound great that you can make an argument is better than crawford during this generation. Im not to sold on Loma
I think that crawford will clean the division. But, I'm a big fan of his boxing (even if I dont like him very much as a person, as his personae, I mean, not that I know him personally). So maybe I'm a little bit biased. But, I repeat, I honestly (as honestly as I can) think that he will clean the division if he has the chance.
It took him 2 years to unify 140. I think it will take Crawford as long to unify two belts at 147. But! His profile is growing, meaning there is more money on the table. And money talks. If Crawford can become a legitimate PPV attraction, the fights will come. (Fingers crossed Crawford-Khan does solid numbers)
If Crawford beats the likes of Thurman, Spence, Porter and Garcia then I would say yes, it certainly would. A big if though.
yes. dominating welter, after what he has already done, is ray leonard type stuff. but,i dont think he gets past spence, and i would say mikey, but i will wait to see how he looks at welter.
Unfortunately no. 147 at the moment is pretty weak, which is unusual, since 147 is usually one of the strongest divisions. Keith Thurman would've been the man to beat, but his two years of inactivity have made him virtually irrelevant. Spence is still for the most part unproven and Porter has already been outclassed by both Brook and Thurman. It would be a good accomplishment, but Ward was fighting and beating better competition.
I think he beats all of those guys. He outboxes Thurman. Schools Spence. Too skilled for the limited Porter and Garcia does nothing remotely as good as TC. He also beats Mikey.
Welterweight will be plunged into the Dull Ages, and people will lose interest in it even more than they already have.
