Actually the left side of Andersons face looks a bit swollen (his left cheek and left eyebrow). Sometimes it doesnt show immediately or it may be the angle..

Sonnen on the otherhand cuts very easily but hes not really swollen.

I really cant understand you ****ers anymore. Anderson got ****n dominated.

Yes - I thought in the post fight interview that AS's left cheek was pretty puffy.

But Sonnen looked worse for wear after the first round which two judges scored a 10-8 to him.

Bruises and cuts don't tell much... you can see them much better on white skin...

Stop press, our prayers have been answered. At last we have an arrogant loudmouth fighter who thinks he's better than everyone else. hallelujah.

Even better this fighting saviour, can take his opponent down and rain pattercake blows on his opponent and really tire him out.

And what's more this fighter has the compassion "to completely beat up his opponent" without leaving any signs of physical damage on his opponent.

Wow sign me up that stuff.

you obviously didnt watch the fight. and if you judge fights by the face of the combatants afterwards rather than what actually went down then you are an ignorant imbecile

Silva got dominated for four and half rounds and then pulled out a submission. That's exactly what happened, the extent to his beating whilst on his back is debatable, but he was losing handily.

This forum would have u believe that Silva didnt even land one punch the whole fight and that Sonnen was just pounding the crap out of Silva all fight long. It thats the case then Sonnen has some pillows on his fists.

Analogy for the not so smart.....Mo won this fight, couldn't find a pic of Gegard Mousasi (don't think he was too marked up)but Mo dominated the fight, and avoided the subs

Don't know why people are so surprised Silva isn't so marked up. Sonnen dominated Silva, but it was more physically wearing him out with his wrestling and with positional domination on the ground than with actual punishment from strikes. Sure he hit Silva with some good shots, but quite alot of Sonnen's shots were love taps basically just to look busy and stop the ref from standing them up. Silva's defense was very good from the bottom.

And Sonnen should STFU. He ****ing quit with 100 seconds left after winning most of the previous 23 minutes of the fight. He will get his rematch. He only looks like a fool talking trash straight after. Plus Anderson would kill him in a street fight in a vale tudo type match if that's what he means by "I'll fight him right now".

I agree with what you say entirely, but according to the rules of UFC being on top of your opponent and being busy with arm punches wins you the round. there was no trickery on Chael's part. According to the rules he had legitimately won the first four rounds using this method.

I think the rules need to be tweaked to reduce the point scoring this method.

I was in a fight once when I was about 19 years old, anyway I had the old dukes up and I was jabbing the air quite hard trying to say if you come to me I'll punch you back.

That was great but I rolled my ankle on the kerb, whilst demonstrating my amazing footwork, and went crashing down .

Anyway got jumped straight on, in pretty much a full mount and my adversery started raining down punches to my head. And I have to say it was quite easy to block every single one. No one knew about elbows back then though, but I couldn't get him off me .

As the punching wasn't working he grabbed my head, the palm of one of his hands was over my mouth, I bit his palm as hard as I could, which felt very satisfying, I have strong teeth and the hand was removed, and then we were pulled apart.

I had really bad scratches on my elbows. as we were being pulled apart and he grabbed my little finger and try to break it. I didn't try and resist I just laughed at him.

Didn't mean to write all that, just reminiscing, what the hell, we are all fight fans here.
