Maybe Dr Robotic will use his famed head movement or a shoulder roll for the return fight?

Lewis gets in shape, remember s the flak he was getting after the fight from the K brothers, makes it personal and beats him conclusively.

Even if the real fight had ended, I don't understand how Vitali would have won; how his face would have held up?
Vitali was nowhere near a knockout after 6 rounds, and he would have lost on points.
    Lewis is H2H above Vitali.
Lewis would have also won the rematch in December 2003.

    :deal:

He was the more tired man, and was being more visibly affected by the uppercuts than Lewis was by his shots.

Lennox Lewis would have won again / he wouldn’t be 256 lbs waiting to fight Kirk Johnson he would probably 247 lbs and got the right sparring taking vitali out !!!!!

What makes me laugh is that I've never seen an opponent get so much credit for having a slight lead after 6 rounds. The way people go on about this is like no boxer in history has been able to turn a fight around after a rocky start.

Lewis was behind on points vs Bruno after 6 rounds and stopped him in the 7th.

Lewis was behind on points vs Mercer after 6 rounds and turned it around in the later rounds to win a close decision.

Lewis lost the first 2 rounds vs Briggs and KOed him in the 5th.

Vitali fought the heaviest version of Lewis who probably fought one of the most sloppy fights in his career and yet Lewis still won. Lewis was also coming off his best round of the fight in the 6th round where he almost took Vitali's head off his shoulders with an uppercut.

Vitali faded vs Byrd in the later rounds there's no reason to think Lewis wouldn't of started to of come on strong himself as he was starting to get the measure of Vitali.

Unless Lewis ages overnight if he comes in better shape for Vitali there's no reason to think he couldn't win the rematch.

Holyfield didn't win more than 5 rounds in the rematch and even 5 is a stretch.

It is funny and also quite strange too.

But the sadder angle to this oddity is that Vitali is celebrated more for having had his faced pushed in than just about anything else he did as an active boxer.

It more or less represents the pinnacle of his boxing career.

Vitali since his absolute peak came right after the Lewis fight and Lewis never fought again.
