Because Pacquiao had just done a great number with Cotto which was better than all of Floyd's PPV's apart from DLH, in fact Pacquiao had two PPV's higher than Mayweather's second best PPV.

After the numbers he did with Shane all that has changed, for that one he outsold all of Pacquiao's fights and showed without doubt how much of a draw he was so I don't see what the problem is with asking to take more money out of the split when you will be bringing more in.

If it doesn't happen then I will blame both of them because this is something that can be negotiated to suit both parties, like Pacquiao and Hatton's split was after 50/50 was agreed.

I blame Pac. Pacquiao had no problem accepting a smaller share against DLH. Now he's again looking at an opponent who has proven statistically to be a bigger draw....so he should be willing to accept less than 50 if he wants the fight.

I can understand why Mayweather would want more of the money, but i would love for him just to give in... I mean, this would be one of the biggest fights of all time, and be legendary, the winner would gain boxing immortality, (something that can't be bought) and if it was close, they could have a rematch for another big sum of cash.

60-40 to the winner would be great for me too, or 55-45 to Mayeather, whatever... Get it on, I don't care!

    Two boxers.

One man wants extra blood testing.

    Same man wants 60/40.

Who's to blame? The one boxer who wants extras? Or the one who just wants to fight?

Obviously Floyd, did agree to a even split prior to the fight falling apart, now that the testing has been agreed on Floyd in my eyes is looking for a bigger share in order to save face... in other words its looking more and more like Floyd wants the money but doesnt want that fight...

What happened since that first fight fell apart??? Floyd proved once again that he is a bigger draw then Pac.

Bottom line is floyd will take the blame if the fight doesnt happen NO MATTER what. He took the blame because Pac refused to do the testing. People say that Pac changed his stance but he really hasnt.

no its due to Pacquiao not understanding basic math skills, or realizing that once you sue a man and tell him to **** off, the offer he gave is no longer available.

If pac just wanted to fight he'd take the 40% and sign.

in saying that though i'de put the blame on floyd, if 50/50 was good enough in march then it good enough now i dont care what anyone says.

Pac is the one giving in concessions to get this fight done. FLoyd is putting stumbling block one after another.

No question about it, Floyd is to blame.

Damn right Jacory. The new face of boxing, fighter of the decade and current P4P #1 shouldn't get more than 30%. He should also get a daily dialysis all the way to fight night; not be allowed to go on talk shows or make interviews + make his ring entrance in the dark with no music.

In conclusion, it's obvious that most of the money and all the attention should be given to FMJ ! Not negociable !!!

you can't call a man a coward when he fights for what he thinks he's worth. I'm a much bigger fan of Pac than Floyd but if Floyd thinks he's worth 60/40, then i understand he would want to fight for that. But I definately don't agree with him that he's worth that much.

Floyd really can't know for sure that Pacquiao will not accept 60/40 and random blood tests, the same way Pac doesn't know that Floyd will not accept a 24 day cut-off date and 50/50. So in a way, neither is ducking the other.

Although 60/40 if its true is a borderline "I know he will never take it" offer. Lets be real here, Pac will never take 60/40.

I have to agree with this post. Not because of it's content but the variation of colour and size in your font. The way it gives you a headache trying to read it makes it hypnotic and very persuasive.

So, yes, what he said. :deal
