The fact that the two best boxers on Earth do appear to be less than eager to meet, despite being offered $25 million each is to their detriment not the sport of boxing as a whole! But as you correctly say, all this talk of "Cheating" is something that the "Casual" fan (And those people are important, particularly when it comes to ppv) or someone becoming newly acquainted with boxing will find hard to understand or accept! The fact is that most boxing fans still now hope that this fight goes ahead and if it does not take place, what does it say about the promotional teams, the camps of both fighters and the fighters themselves?

All this has done is brought a negative eye to boxing. If these tests were for the good of boxing they should implement it to ALL not ONE, but to ALL boxers or for all championship fights.

But F#ck this fight and f#ck Floyd.

Floyd has been presented with numerous alternatives but he's still insistent on USADA.

Mayweather is demanding Olympic-style testing conducted by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, whose inflexible protocol calls for random urine and blood testing throughout training camps, fight week and even the day of the fight, with the ability to test any time, day or night. Both fighters would be subject to the same kind of testing.

Read their protocols you have to notify them of your schedule and where abouts.

Can you honestly say that ALL of that is necessary?

I to would like boxing to be similar to the "UFC" because if you do attempt to "Swerve" anyone in the UFC, you usually get "Binned". That said the UFC model is far from perfect!! As you know, you never see "Strikeforce" contracted fighters fight "UFC" contracted fighters or "UFC" contracted fighters face "WEC" contracted fighters (ETC)! At least in boxing, you do have the possiblity of an "Undisputed" champion! Yes, I know, Georges St Pierre is the best mma welterweight in the world, and by some distance, but there are still at least two other guys at any one time who call themselves the (Apply relevant org's name) welterweight champion of the world!! As for boxing dying a slow death if this kind of crap continues, I cannot fault your logic! If this type of behaviour is the pre-cursor to what we can expect on a regular basis. I.e Champions and challengers applying their own rules/conditions/tests etc outside of the relevant organisation's stipulations (and then not fighting each other when their "demands" are not met) then boxing will not be in great shape! But let's be clear, no other sport will ever "Take over" boxing (I know you haven't suggested that any sport will, but some may consider that to be the implication) because boxing has no competition (Certainly not from mma, which is an entirely different sport)!
