Not as much. The heavyweight division is normally the Jewel of boxing. Now that the division has been in a draught since Lewis retired, the smaller weights have been doing a great job of keeping boxing alive in the hearts of serious fans. But not to worry. The heavyweight division will return and be as exciting as we all expect and love. :good
the HW isnt weak! Its just lost its magic after eastern fighters began KOing every overhyped ameribum in sight! If not for the east euros Chambers would be touted as the new Ali and Holyfield the greatest for being WC at 48! PFFFF!!
no cuz its more fun to watch 2 big powerful guys bang the **** out of each others and one gets KOed other than watching some flies buzzing around the ring and throwing 100 punches with no power
Yet another Eastern European ********. Doesn't this board have enough already? The Klits would be also-rans in any other era in HW history, and they would be less than that if their records weren't considered as somehow intertwined. Vitali would stand half a chance because it's pretty much impossible to knock him down, but he doesn't possess the skills to beat any ATG (unless you count a face-first defence as skills). Wlad would be eaten alive by anyone willing to take a punch to deliver one and isn't there to simply collect a payday. Klit fans criticise haye for fighting Audley, but Haye made a **** load of money and Harrison had more pro fights behind him than Solis and Chisora COMBINED, but it's okay for the Klits to fight novices I guess, being white and all. The best result the Klits have between them is a loss to a post-prime Lewis, regardless of any mythical fantasy match-ups :hi:
