If the IBF lets AJ bypass its mandatory, its bias against Fury will be confirmed

To recall, the IBF did not let Fury take the rematch with Wlad (not that he would have taken it anyway), and it would have forced Fury within two weeks after his fight with Wlad to agree with Glazkov on a fight.

Now Hearn is seeking a permission for Joshua to face Wlad again, given the rematch clause, before facing Pulev (who is btw a far more credible mandatory than Glazkov ever was).

Will the IBF remain consistent? I sincerely hope so, otherwise Fury's claims about the orchestrated conspiracy against him, sanctioning his non-PC behaviour, would not appear so nonsense anymore...

The guy that doesn't even have a boxing licence is the best out there. Okay. He had a great win, but didn't even defend his title once.

yeah but he is arguably the best hw its debatable . theres a handful of heavys that can fight. an i dnt think fury is the best due to inactivity. but when hes in shape and motivated he prolly is the best and he has his youth still.

i personally think ortiz is the best n can knock out any one.

The mandatory was already over due when he fought Wlad first time.

The fact its not being enforced next already proves the IBF unlawfully stripped Fury.

Corrupt Politics stripped Fury of his IBF belt. I knew that the moment it happened.

Seems like the IBF made the right decision since Fury backed out of 2 rematches with Wlad then failed drug tests etc. Fury has been inactive so long it isn't even worth discussing him really. Ring Magazine is stripping him in June.

The IBF are basically a crimial organisation and should be treated as such, they took a huge sanctioning fee from fury then stripped him anyway, which they knew they were going to do in advance.

these parasites are only too happy to take the blood money (several hundred thousand was what i heard for the wlad fury fiasco) but are notable only for their absence and silence when a fighter suffers injuries in one of their 'santioned' bouts. The IBF arent the only ones of course, they are generally all a total disgrace

It also doesnt help when you have snakes such as hearn, who then basically bought that IBF strap from that guy whos name i cant even remember, many promoters are aiding and abetting this criminality for their own ends.

Eventually the IBF made the right call. Of course that's with 20/20 hindsight, but it doesn't disqualify that observation.

IBF did Fury dirty. There's already a double standard, AJ getting more time to decide. All the time he needs. Fury was given only several days to step n fetch.

Hearn said they've talked to Sauerland and they will wait for AJ and Wlad to rematch. I can't imagine that dialogue happened between the Fury's and Duva.

Probably bc Pulev had his chance at Joshua at least twice and he declined both..i beleive Hearn made 3 attempts and Hearn has a working relationship with them, anything associated with the name fury usually gets turned into a side show...as we saw and are still seeing now.

I doubt AJ is in any position to "decide" either way. There was a rematch clause in the AJ/Wlad contract which legally dictates that AJ's next fight has to be against Wlad if Wlad decides to trigger that clause. I would imagine there is a set date by which the clause expires.

Until then AJ is no position to decide on his next opponent regardless of any action the IBF may or may not take.

The IBF made it clear that they stripped Fury because they claim they were not informed of a rematch clause in the contract between Klitschko and Fury. In the IBF statement they said they would have supported the rematch (and thus Fury keeping the belt) had they been informed beforehand.

Maybe AJ's team "informed" (read: send $200,000 to some anonymous Panamanian bank account) the IBF properly now that they might want to fight a rematch with Wlad?

The IBF stripped Fury because of his views let's not pretend it was anything else. He mights not be perfect no one is but his views against this satanic world gov really upsets the elites.
