If Jessie Owens was short and fat could he have run as fast as he did? :nut

How anyone can question Wlad's athleticism is beyond me. How many Heavyweights can hook off the jab with the precession that he used to actively demonstrate (granted this isn't really in his arsenal any longer but just proving a point)

This is a completely stupid question. Of course they would fight differently if they were shorter, they would be SHORTER. Would Mike Tyson have fought differently if he was 6'5? yeah, no doubt

Fighter's fight according to their natural attributes, thats a given.

Would Shaquille O'Neil have been been as good at basketball if he was 6 feet tall?

Would Usain Bolt be able to run as fast if he was shorter?

Would Michael Phelps swim just as good if he was 5'5?

Would an olympic lifter be as strong if they were 6'7?

    Bull**** question

    Wlad cant take a punch...

How long will this myth go on for.
He took 3 from what many here consider one of the hardest hitters in the HW division and came back to win. Do yourself a favor and look up Hep C. Watch video of Hollyfield when he was afflicted with it then compare Wlad.

Wlad would be successful cause he is
a damn good boxer. Fast and agile.

This is such a stupid argument. They fight the way they do because of their size. Ali's style was predicated on being the tallest guy in the ring, so would he have been as effective if he were an average sized 6' heavy? Of course not.

It is indeed a stupid question. What if Ali wasn't fast, what if Foreman didn't have massive power, what if Louis wasn't...well, just the best, what if Tyson didn't have great head movement (well, we've seen that).

    They're tall. They use it.

    Stupid thread.

It's like asking what if Michael Jordan was 5' 9", or Shaquille O'Neal was 6'4".

Obviously, with a height change, everything else also changes. The way you move, tactics, etc...they would be completely different fighters if they were different heights.....as would ANY other fighter.

    no way to possibly know.

there whole fight plan is geared around their height. doesnt mean they couldnt have had a successful plan where they smaller. but it means we can never honestly know.

You all talk so much crap. Nothing but nostalgic speculation and bull****. They fight the way they do because of their size and every other fighter is not their size. Even if they where they would probably still be top of the game. Size doesnt help Audley not suck.

They would probably be competative in any era ever, but all they have is this one.

Speed and power are natural attributes. They can be worked on but only to a degree. Basically you've got what you're given and you fight accordingly, as with the Klitschko's and their natural size.

Foreman was naturally a murderous puncher, in the same way Paulie M couldn't break an egg.
